That must have been one hell of a great game... I was about to hit the gym at the time and saw Rivaldo score on the 'fitness first' tv. Thinking Liverpool had choked the big one I went back into the gym to continue working out. Almost an hour later its 2-1 with like 5 mins left on the clock.

It had to be Gerrard that put them through and a tap in, or penalty goal just wouldn't cut it. It had to be his trademark 25 yard screamer to put a big exclamation mark on everything. Amazing stuff, I almost jumped screaming. Says a lot coming from a united fan .

lol this just shows what good sports united supporters are ... congratulating the enemy when they deserve it ... good to see all 4 english teams go through and yea it was fitting that gerrard was the one who scored the goal which guaranteed liverpool qualification .. hes definately one of the top 3 midfielders in the world right now and although im not the biggest liverpool fan i think this ensuring that gerrard doesnt go to chelsea for the time being is the lesser of the 2 evils.

I dont think gerrard will go to chelsea anyway, nor that chelsea need him, they have a great pool of players to choose from, and duff and lampard are on fire. I think the most likely destination is somewhere abroad, man utd cant afford to buy him.

Very exiting game!!! When Liverpool was trailing 1:0 after the Rivaldo's goal I thought that they're out of the Champions League...But then amazing 2nd half and one of the greatest and most important goals this year by Gerard!!! Damn it was great!!! Hope to see as many interesting games like this in the next Champions Leauge stages as possible!

dude he plays for liverpool .. even if we do have the money to buy him he will never come play for us else hes gonna be on the scouser hit list ... and chelsea can make good use of him by pairing him up with lampard in midfield and robben and duff serving as wingers .. holy shit just picture that mid field..
