This wed we have:

Cinder - Dnb
Feuhrer (aka Onicon) - Nrg/Uk Hardhouse
Keeque - House
Arcangel = downtempo

I downloaded Packer's set & am enjoying it as I type. I heard "Silence", which was overplayed (though a good song)...then he started with the strong medicine. Silence was to lull me into complacency before the hammer hit. EXCELLENT set.

I'm taking Thursday off for the holidays, I might try to make the drive down to San Antonio this Wednesday.

Some 1st timer questions--

Do people dance, or do people look on sullenly, saying "What an ass you are to be prancing about on the dance floor?"

What time does it finish up at?

tmft - Thanks for your kind words mate! Glad you enjoyed it

Regarding Hidden Tavern, it'd be wrong for me not to warn you about what to expect, seeing as you're considering driving down from Austin. It's no big club or anything of that sort, rather it's a tavern/pub with a bar, some tables, pool tables, darts, etc. Don't expect anyone to be dancing, or it to be overly packed. Expect there to be a few of us TAs, a bunch of our mates, pitchers of beer, and overall good company and good tunes. It'd be great to meet up with mate but I wouldn't want you to be dissapointed. Every Wednesday we have 4 DJs, from 10pm-2am, hour slots. Tomorrow night it'll be:

Cinder (drum & bass)
Feuhrer (aka Onicon) (nrg/uk hardhouse)
Keeque (house)
Arcangel (downtempo)

Thanks for the advice Packer.

The rain & cold have sapped my will for the drive. And that I like trance more than house.

I'll come down when the DJs are more Trance. Thanks for keeping the linuep updated on this thread.

The usually isn't more than 1 trance DJ a night at the Hidden Tavern. Every now and then there might be 2 but its usually 1 or none.

I'll wait for the "at least one" trance DJ night.

Its sad that you'll probably see more House than Trance when it comes down to it. Other than myself and Packer, we don't know of other Trance DJs from here that could put on a good set. I would like to see guys from the other cities, but at this point we can't make it worth their while to come out. Its mostly like 10 people and maybe like 1 of them likes Trance. Its a good time though.

I'm a general fan of ANY electronic music (including dNb, house, Breaks, techno, etc).

I like trance the best, so I'll wait for the night where I can see you (again) or Packer. Though I've heard that Packer is a poon...

Posted by Rememberence_ on Dec-22-2004 20:26:

****s

Posted by tmft on Dec-22-2004 20:26:

J/K Packer. It was more of a joke at Dave for telling me not to be such a poon.
