Smoking ..umm..something 800W of Computer Speaker Power!

Holy sh*t Batman! Santa came early. I just got in another set of Z-560 speakers and plugged them in with my other set. I have a Y splitter off of the audio on the computer to feed the two. Combined 800 F*cking Watts now with two 200W 10" subs and twelve 50W subs (4 came from another set). Life is good.

Computer speakers my friend.

Got two of these bad boys wired together, plus 4 more subs from an Altec Lansing system in which the woofer burned.

I got these for a mere $75 too, free shipping!

BWAHAHHAAA! Rocking. Never can have enough power in the cars, workplace, living room, or computer room....

damn it .. now you got me thinking about new speakers ..

i am thinking of revamping at least two things on my computer ..

my suggestions are either a flat monitor, a new video card, a new fan for my computer, or maybe some new speakers..

they got some nice bose speakers on sale which i can connect to my receiver .. i can't believe my receiver is still working like the shiznit for 8 years .. and got it for a good price back then..

Hey TrueSonic, add on to existing!
Get a Y splitter off of the audio card and connect a second system. That's what homey did here.

Now I can control balance between two 10" woofs instead of dealing with thump from one set location, which was my main reason for the second set. I can tell you now that I'm flight testing them that it makes one helluva difference. Try justdeals.com and no soliciting from my part involved here.

maybe i should .. currently have two speakers and 0 subwoofers (come on .. it's just my bedroom .. not the living room .. hahahahhaa) .. it's running pretty good at the moment .. maybe i should .. but i have my computer in the corner of my room, so i centralize all my sound to that corner .. either that, or just bust it out with my earphones .. hahahha ..

Where did u get those. How do they sound (not volume wise )

I have some decent computer speakers, but I don't see the point in investing large amounts of money in them. You're probably only going to be listening to mp3s anyway, and unless you're only getting 256+ rips, you probably aren't hearing much more than I am with my $45 speakers.

Now investing copious amounts of money in amp + speakers for the stereo, that's something I understand.

$75 isn't a copious amount in my book. As a matter of fact, I just went online and ordered another set for my youngest son to pump him up. He's only running 80W and this will push him near 500W on the computer in his room. Who cares, he has a 1000W amp on his guitar anyhow. This is also chump change compared to the $1,000 I spent putting a grid square shaker 1400W system in my middle kid's car. It f*cking bumps though, no doubt.
TwoPlow, you obviously don't order much sh*t nor care about power like me, so leave it at that. I particularly like extreme power in the computer room, living room, car and workplace as well. You don't need it all the time, but turning the knob to exteme means extreme and not some whimpy shit. Speakers are actually cheap compared to computer prices. Oh, yeah I got some extreme there, but won't go into that.
My point of the thread from the first place was not to gloat, but to inform folks how cheap it really is to get awesome power right off of their computer. If you're really a Trance Addict, speakers are pretty damn important.
