yeh, i've never understand why ppl bash different media players? don't they all essentially do the same thing? i don't understand how one is better then another.

Actually no but i'll see if i can get my hands on one. This set is done by a buddy of mine. There is one every week on www.upjumpsdaboogie.com which is mainly a hip hop site. He was the first house DJ on there.

It all depends on how much 'spyware' or 'adware' they put on your machine...

I only use Quintessential player....small memory footprint, able to record streaming music, and rip CD's into MP3 really quickly with great quality...
It is free, there are no ads and no spyware....

Real Player....crap....I don't want some application to hijack my machine....

i have a spywear blocker. It actually catches it before it can even install on my machine. i havn't had a problem since.

I listened to the first 20 minutes last night before going to sleep.

The opening track was great, really set the tone early. It started to get into some (what I would consider) some minimalist type sounds (not too many sounds going on at once) which lost me for a bit.

However, I scanned through it and the whole set does have some great tracks later on. I plan on listening to the rest later today (after ASOT).
