The tendenacy for advice in the COR to involve violence.

Although quite humourous at times the tendenancy for much advice given to people in this forum to involve many forms of violence poses some interesing questions into the mindset of the contributors.

Is this funny in some parts of the world? as I don't really get it.

Maybe my maturity levels are too low to get such humour, or every thread where someone exposes some personal information to end up being a competition to be the most gruesome and violent is not quite my thing.

Ah ShadoWolf, although on a message board you are able to use pictures to compensate for a non-ability to communicate in any meaningful fashion, one wonders how you prevent this obvious limitation from effecting your everyday life.

Do you walk around holding up pictures?

Yeah yeah, that attempt at violence was quite poor and demonstrated a complete lack of experience in this field.

Prehaps you would be better equipped at offering advice on being an immature teenage internet terrorist that searches for attention.

Wouldn't your maturity level be higher? Because if it was low, you'd be able to get all these low-brow jokes and stuff.

There was a slight hint of sarcasm in that comment.

Sorry to ruin everybody's fun or turn myself into a TA social outcast, not that I really care either way, I was just wondering how recommending shooting someone is all that funny.

Maybe its like that wrestling that seems so popular, its not real and everybody knows that, but it allows some sort of primal instincts to be displayed, and little boys to outlet some internal desire to be big and tough. Perhaps in there lies the attraction.

Anyway, insights from the knowledgable appreciated.

In the end, people like explosions.

True, like a quality action movie and a bang at the end.

Or maybe its like a running joke that I've stumbled onto quite late without understanding its formation, which is usually the funniest part...

In response to the original theme of the thread, I do agree with you.

Far too much "beat his ass" or "stab the *****er for being the boyfriend of the girl you are obssessed with" comments, probably is a maturity/age thing.

Posted by sensorium on Dec-10-2004 09:13:

Live with it.

i'd find a pic to describe this, but i'm too wasted and lazy to do so right now

so here goes something like this

way to waste your time and invite flaming upon yourself by posting this thread

Violence can help you in so many ways, you should try it

anyway, i CANT resist do make a SERIOUS reply:

*cough*ehum*cough*

Its probly our own little sick sense of humor, violence that can be laughed about. Its not that someone from COR goes to his school and blows away 3 kids, we know our limits...

i hope
