Trance Energy 2005 help for someone on the other sideofthe world(I need to be there!)

Hi
(ie didnt send my other post)
heres the thing, I saterted listening to trance cause of sets like tiesto and ferry at trance energy 2000 and I have the oportunity to be in europe in feb 2005 and I'd die to be at trance energy 2005
(all this due to the fact that chilean music scene sucks in so many ways, me being one of few trance djs heres, seriously)

wll and I'd love to start working on that so here are my doubt's:

First, where do I buy tickets?, I know english and not dutch so I have no idea what they tell me on the TE2005 website, also Ive never bought tickets this early on and dont even know how much they are worth

Second, I dont know where to stay/live/sleep/eat/everything, so to anybody that has every done this I'd love some input, aren't there supposed to be travel packs for some events?

Third, I thinks trance is also a social music, so Id love to get to know people... you guys ovbiously know more than I do about a lot, hell I'm "almost" alone here music wise. I'm not psycho or anything... I just have to be where I always wanted to be, with the kind of music that moves me.
If you guys like group or something to go to this... I'd love to catch up with all of you.

I thank you all for your time, and hope this might help other people.
(like making a party travellers guide or something)

thank you thank you thank you....

Dyson

Save your money and go to a better big dutch event instead, such as Mysteryland or Dance Valley.

Posted by dyson on Dec-10-2004 19:53:

if I have the chance I will go to all of them... the problem is timing, I dont go to europe that often, I only got a month there and moving around.

when is mystery land and dance valley thou? I might just not come back to my country because of this.. lol!

www.ticketbox.nl you can buy tickets.

Maybe ID-T offers a Ticket + hotel pack but that information is still unknown. Also if tere is going to be that kind of pack you will have a hotel in the city of Utrecht (TE is in utrecht). It is a nice city but Amsterdam is much better. So just book a room in amsterdam and stay a few days to see the city. What kind of room you want depends on your budget.
When TE is on you just take the train from amsterdam to utrecht. That is about 30 minutes and about 15 euros. The venue is near the station

:D

I will be in amsterdam that week
your answer just solved a bunch of my doubts thanks
thou I cant understand anything on the tickets website... any englishr version of the site anyone?
also
for an event like this, how early do I have to start going?, say the event starts at 22 hours :S... do the trains you say leave frequently?
should I buy tickets for the train even earlier?

thanks

edit... Im ovbiously not european... do I need passport and stuff to go around in the train?, how about @ Trance Energy entrance? anything special?

www.ticketbox.nl isnt working properly at the moment. Part of it is in english so it is easy to order. Dunno if they will send it to chile!

How early? Well it depends. It will proberly will start at 9 in the evening. Train takes about 30-35 minutes. When you arive at Utrecht Central station just follow the signs Jaarbeurs. And also follow the other party people. It depends how late you are wanne be inside. If you want to be there precisly at 9 o clock take the train at 8. Trains to utrecht are going every 30 minutes, maybe even more frequently. ALSO please make sure you buy a WEEKENDTRIP (weekendretour) train ticket. It is much cheaper! You need a weekentrip ticket because you will go to utrecht saturday night and go back sunday morning.

You will not have to show you passport at the entrance or something. However I think it is always smart to have some identification with you. On the other hand if you lose it at TE you are in deep shit. So it is your call basicly!

Another piece of information i will give you that we dutch are friendly. So if you are stuck somewhere, just go and ask. We ALL know how to speak english.

you HAVE to carry your passport on you all the time when you travel in other countries, or at least have it close to you (hotel safe, swimming pool locker etc)

Posted by dyson on Dec-11-2004 12:28:

:D

yeah I know about the ID thing, I just havent gone to an "over 18" party :S (none have that condition here)... so I dont know if they ask for ID outside the event (Ill be 22 then)
this is really helping me out

Also I have a list of places where to buy vinyl in amsterdam, but in your opinion which are the best places to get the best tracks, maybe not the best prices, but some playe like onlydjs.com was(is it back?)

thanks y'alll

jups, if you going to spend a lot of money travelling to europa you want the best of the best. TE isnt best of the best. But hey it is your call basicly, but maybe you should go grab some info about other events. Holland has far more to offer then TE

Posted by dyson on Dec-11-2004 16:41:

:D

well I dont know that much... and it actually my summer holidays (chilean summer) and it will only be feb... so if you guys know any other events that will be well worth it, recommend please!

I want more and more. also wanna go record hunting and stuff.

I'm open to any recomendations, even thou I AM going to TE

thanks

i'm off topic.. but anyways
i think you should leave passport in a safe place, such as the hotel because if you take it with you, it can get jacked just like mine did last week DAMMIT (i'm still a bit bitter about the whole thing...)

anyways, carry on..
