Jus Came Bak From Street Races

awesome night cut short. i had a couple friends in me car, and my friend knew somebody who was racin, so we met up and followed them. i never seen this went on in tampa bay, though i know it does. 50 cars, all souped up, parked in this gas station. place is packed. finally, we head to this industrial parkway, and everyone just parks. with no time to lose, the races are underway. a lone truck passes by(called the police). all of sudden, everyone hears the sirens, and its a mad dash to everyones car to get the FUC8 out of there. back to the gas station it is, where due to my gas shortage i had to get home. put in 4 bucks though, that got me home.

Posted by vhx1 on Dec-12-2004 06:37:

haha well i've been through the stage where i discovered the freedom and the great funs of driving.... only to find out the hard way how many dumb things you can do. ALot of kiddies have too much confidence in their unexperienced abilities... like i did... and thats the cause of many accidents. hah

If they drive in a place where they physically can't harm others, fair play: if they kiss a lamppost good-bye, they knew it could happen, or at least they should.

I've got a problem with these brainless gits when they decide to race in places full of people. Nevertheless, the harsher authorities are on these idiots the more impulsive they'll be to "break their limits", and the chances of hitting random people with their two-hundred-kilometer-per-hour flying devices, which is bang out of order, will only increase. That's what the main problem is.

in miami almost every "sport" car has turbo, yesterday i counted about 40 (i was sitting in front of restaurant)

i dont race, but my friends do, but, few days ago I decided to see how it is so I sat on a passenger seat, and my friend was driving 2001 accord and the other friend was driving integra(i think 94), and
I must say its fun, when you feel the push when you change gears or you see the other head to head (at the begining) and ending spedd is around 90mph in the normal street

but still the best race was evo vs wrx on the turnpike (we were following them in that integra, but not for long)

yea, i drive a 92 jeep cherokee. its a piece of shit compared to most of the cars that were there. a little embaressing but they knew i waas there to watch.

but, after i dropped these 2 girls off, the car they were riding in got pulled over. they got pretty f*cked over. their picture is now in this street racing database the police have in tampa. heh, i got out of there just 5 minutes earlier. at least the car didnt get impounded..

I am not a fan of street racing, but I am a fan of modded cars. Just thought I would share this:

No, not compared to the cars that were there (unless they were from a scrapyard), but its junk either way. Note, i mean its junk in the sense that you use it for racing. However, Jeeps are DAMN durable, so congrats on acquiring your parents car.
