wow.. that sure is a big file
ill comment when im done downloading

edit: ok listening now.
-Nice little beat hear at 1:40
-Interesting, atmospheric background FX. like em.
-2:33 wooh. Nice wind FX.
-2:57 Nice nice beat. Maybe turn the bass down a little, it's overpowering. Unless you want that?
-3:30 ish. Smoothe addition to beat.
-4 Minutes the break. Nice chilled sounds here.
-Love the breaks. Not to complex, but simple in enough for you to concentrate on the pads and melody.
-6:00 Love when it all comes together. Maybe you can add another percussion to kick it up a small notch. But its fine the way it is.
-Beatiful tune so far
-7:22 love the addition of that new pad, but you take it away right away. Keep that goin man :P Oh wait there it is again at 7:55
-Picks up again at 8:00. Diggin the sound man.

This would definately be killer to get a set started. Amazing all-around.

Hi Alex,

I really dig this song. The slow beat is fantastic, and the rhythm on the toms? that's great! Makes it soo groovey.

I agree that the bass is a bit too loud.
Also, I'm not sure the trancey clap suits the style of this song - I'd love to hear a thick mean snare drum instead!

Very cool use of fx.
The breaks are pretty sweet and chilled.

Try adding some effects to the main melody synth to fatten it up a bit.

Fine work over all - very chilled and calming,
Trevor

Cool! Have you uploaded a new version? I'll definately download and check it out when I get home from work tonight.

Also, what do you use to produce? just curious

- Beat at 0:30 is kind of empty, keep those winds going more prominently
- Also those hi hats are bit awkward with the kick
- Like mentioned, clap is not welcome here
- By 2:00 its kind of boring, those wind sweeps won't do it to keep listener interested
- After the break, when kick comes back it sounds pretty good
- At 3:53 those fx sounds pretty good, but then the break suddenly comes
- At 4:55 those are pretty good breaks, work well with those calm melodies
- Overall, in the break, the melodies are too calm and get kind of boring. Make the lead synth more prominent maybe
- Have more drive to and buildup for the kick at 6:00
- The song definatly needs more elements, both percussion and musical. Those wind sweeps are kind of annyoing after a while.
- A really good base to work from, so just add some things and work on some levels...
