Real Madrid game Abandoned due to Bomb-Scare

Just seen this, no real detail on it, just that during the game between Madrid & Sociedad that the game was abandoned due to a bomb warning from ETA i think it was. Anyone able to shed some light ?

Are you retarded? Imagine just for a second that the bomb really exploded (I think there were no such bomb, it was only a treat, but whatever) during the match, it would have killed lots of people, and all you can come with is "HAHAHA" and 3 smilies laughing? You have a fucked up sense of humour

And I cannot explain all the ETA situation since my english is really poor, but they are some fucked up bastards that could bomb their arses instead of trying to kill innocent people

That goes without saying. Ofcourse they would hate Real: the sporting darling of the capital of the country they want independence from.

Its always a shame when politics and sports collide like this and a good thing there was no bomb. The sooner rogue groups like ETA, Al Qaeda etc are put down the better off we all will be. I hope ETA doesn't pull off something stupid when Madrid play Barca- planning to attend that one.

the "HAHAHAHAHAHA" post came after knowing the fact that it was a false alert ! no bomb no injuries no shit !

that's why i posted such a message , otherwise if God forbids something happened , my post wouldn't be like this

it brings us politically into the age old argument of which regions of spain (eg basque, catalunya, castilla, andalucia etc) should get independance from spain or whether they just have to deal with how it is

The world is a very mean place; it's the best way to sum up Madrid in 2004

Ronaldo almost fell going out of the field. That was funny.

But the whole thing was a serious matter. I liked how there was no extreme panic or anything like that. Everything was going good as people went out of the stadium. Damn the person or persons who made the threat.

i was following the game live from real's website. i thought they ended up with 1-1 bc they were not uplaoding after 42' of 2nd half. anyone knows any website that i can see the vid. i missed tonite's news, thats why im askin that.

Posted by sensorium on Dec-13-2004 05:06:

There isn't much to see. Someone goes up to the ref to tell him about the bomb threat. Ref tells the players to leave the field. Then the fans start leaving as well after an announcement which didn't cause any type of panic for most. It was empty pretty quick.

I'm not against some spanish regions having some independence, but are you sure they want to be independent? That will mean the independent regions won't receive money from spanish taxes, they won't be part of the EU... People should really think deeper about this topic.

And of course, no violence should be involved in any indepence petition.
