Big Room Sounds

Hey all Im looking for a new vst synth plug in. The ones that have those big room trance sounds..... like the zt3a

I already have - zt3a, Vanguard and all different sound banks. Albino 2, Minnimoog, cs8ov, Alpha. (the last 4 I havent really got into that much)

Also , if anyone has the zt3a, Is there a trancegate or a way to arp the sounds that are not already arped? If that makes any sense.

Thanks for your time.

thick arps, synths, saws. thick leads

does that help at all

mate you dont need another plugin. apart from the fact you have pretty much the best VST instruments for dance production already - what possessed you to buy all this stuff in the first place if you hardly use half of it? nevermind - i think i get it.

you can make a thick monster leads out of instruments you already have. dont use the presets. program them yourself. take one, like zeta and layer multiple zetas or a zeta and a vanguard together to create different timbres and textures. you already have an amazing set of tools. im just beginning to really get into vanguard having been using it almost exclusively for all of my drum and bass/trance and house productions. its an amazing instrument. zeta is too. hell all of them are.

if you want to gate one of those synths but the synth doesnt have a gate then go to www.kvr-vst.com and download mgtriggergate. its free. its very similar to vanguard's trance gate only you add it as an effect and it gates anything assigned to that effects channel.

as for arps. zeta has an arp. you just need to enable it and build your arp. vanguard has an arp (and its easy to use. you dont even need to program it). albino has an arp on the mod matrix and its programmable. one of the best VSTi arpeggiators because its so versatile but it can be difficult to program.

Thanks for your advice. I think my problem is that I don't really understand each program good enough. I was a bass guiitar player all my life so computers confuse me alittle.

So the zt3a has an arp that can be enabled? Would it be possible for you to tell me how to do that? If you have time.

And I am going to check out the website you posted.

THank you!!

There is a secret file of wisdom called "manual" ;-) There you will surely find an answer.

If you are a synth-newbie like me then you may find good (free) trance-banks for zeta on kvr-vst (while you learn to tweak the knobs in the right way ;-) ). If you dont't find them pm me - don't know if they are still there.

bye,
nytrox

yea dont worry about it mate. everyone at some point has taken a look at zeta and thought 'holy shit. what do i do now?' . im not a big zeta person but i can give you a hand if you need help programming vanguard. its probably worth focusing on just those 2 since a combo of zetas and vanguards can make or emulate pretty much 90% of the stock dance sounds out there. i know that i do practically everything on vanguard and my virus. still use vanguard more because i know how to program it better.
