Hello.

My name is Max, 19 Years old, from Germany and I have a question concerning the "Rank1 Remix" of Ferry Corstens & Tijs Verwests Track "Gouryella - Ligaya".

I know that this track has never been released on vinyl or cd, but I do not understand why. I have listened that track in a liveset played by Rank 1 and its really a great tune. I know that Piet Bervoets plays it sometimes.

Today I asked Benno de Goeij in the Chat on the Rank1 homepage, why that awesome Remix has never been released and he told me that Ferry Corsten did not liked that Remix so much and so it has never been released.

The Rank 1 Remix is great !!! Ferry Corsten and Rank 1 fans all over the world are waiting for that Remix since a very long time ! How can you release the hardstyle "Walt" and "Yoji Biomehanika" Remix but not the Rank 1 Remix ?!

Please if you read this mail, use your chance to tell Ferry Corsten that the Rank1 members still want to release that Remix !

I have already suggested to give Benno de Goeij 50 euro for one complete mp3 of that Remix, but he said, that Ferry is like a friend for him and he gave him his promise not to publish the Remix. He told me that I should write an email to Ferry and thats what I am doing right now.

Please send me an answer to this mail.

Thank you very much
Max

Please respect Ferry's choice.

I could respect his choice if he gives me an explanation why that Remix is bad.

Furthermore I just want to ask him, maybe he forgot that track and he would release it today, because he changed his opinion!

^ Indeed, I just read it on trance.nu as well...

And I understand your point, but there are so many good remixes that never get a release nowadays, even after fans begging for it. I hardly think this one will be an exception to be honest, but you can't blame a guy for trying...

if he thinks it isn't good enough ... it isn't ... and so will it be ...

producers and labels aren't takin any risks at the moment with releases ... so ... i wouldn't hope for changing his mind ...
