Visuals at Tiesto

Hey there,

I was just wondering if anybody knows who was responsible for creating the visuals at Tiesto's show at the Docks. Is it something Tiesto's management provided to the Docks..?? It looked like a lot of work was put into it, so I'm thinking it was developed especially for his performances... especially considering the images of the cheetah(nyana) running.

I just thought it was an incredible piece of work... and would really like to know more about it. If anybody has any information about who created it, what they used or how I may get in contact with them... it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

I agree! the set up was awesome! I loved the boxes from the ceiling too!!! How did they get the images on there?? (which could be seen from all sides of the box) crazy!

Yeah those boxes were a cool concept. The imagery was displayed on them from projecters which hung from the ceiling.

What I'm really curious about is the actual imagery itself. The video imagery that played on all the screens in between the aerial views of the dj booth. It was a lot of abstract work... very seemingly random images, and words that provoked deep reflection (for me at least, lol).

Anyways I found it to be a perfect compliment to the music and thought it was beautifully done. It gave me a lot of inspiration for the type of work that I do.... I would love to know who was responsible for it!

The visuals were created on the new video console we have at the docks called the brash live.
content was a combination of the units internal imagery , Jamie the programmer and inventor of the unit who also just completed Tiestos South american tour and Tiestos own VJ .
We installed extra cameras around the DJ booth and jamie mixed the camera shots along with the brash visuals this was then output to an Edirol VL4 mixer whcih also had 3 dvd players with tiestos original material which was mixed down by his Vj
Thc cubes were made by midnight hour from an Idea by Ralph of project orange and we used 3 3500 lumen panasonic projectors focused on them

I was doing a Daler Mehndi Tunak-Tunak-Tun tribute dance when I saw those bollywood clips!

Excellent visuals - I was noticing during the track "Traffic" that clips of a real road intersection traffic were playing on the monitors too (they should have put the long traffic lineup of cars waiting to park at The Docks instead ) - props to the VJs for the little details like that.
