UKTA 12 Hour radio Xmas Special

We've come up with the idea to bring a 12 hour marathon of music to you soon, each dj will be live and have 90 minutes worth of sets, probably Midday to Midnight on Xmas Eve (TBD)

There will be sets from all of your favourites, and some of your lesser favourites, but mainly we need a good date for everyone that is pre-xmas and when everyone can play & listen.

Suggestions please for good dates & anymore ideas ?

(there will be no dj slots open to non-regulars, the sets will be decided but be between - gibbo, luke, ste, mike, mikey, ian, mart, montana, nik & Sy)

or 12 hour ian marathon if nobody can be arsed

xmas eve will be good. as nye i wouldnt be able to stream or listen

Yo. I'm up for doing a live house or trance set, the latter usually featuring deeper tracks with older rather than newer tunes, and the former being subtly homosexual. I don't mind when you put me on (if you even need me), but 7-8pm is usually good because I hate soaps with a passion.

Around here Santa visits us on the xmas eve rather than xmas day, so I'm gonna have to play really early or really late... or not at all (which is what everyone's hoping for )

probably an early house set and an early breaks set for u mart & tony ? maybe 12-1 tony, 1-2 nik and 2-3 mart ? (depending if its 1 hour or 90 minute sets)

id prefer to play later on, as obviously banging out the tech trance and techno in the afternoon would be a bit silly.

yep. I think we need to structure it like that, I wanna play techno verging on funky ish going into more banging, so 1-5pm isn't going to work to me

xmas eve is my best day tho as on the 23rd I have docs and have to pick my bro up @ the airport from canada

Xmas eve sort of sounds good but we could just do it on some random day before christmas when everybody will be in and bored and will actually tune in. i get the feeling a fair few people will get roped into doing things or end up going out on xmas eve.

Depends entirely on whether I'm working or not. I'm just on my way to work and I'll let you know tomorrow when I'm available.

Right, the best days for me would be the 22nd and 23rd. I can throw a set on the 24th too but I'd be far less busy on the previous days.

Edit: Actually, 23rd only. Unless of course I record in advance.

Its times like this I wish I�d have gotten off my backside and set up the stream so I could have done a mix and joined in the xmas fun!
