Gouryella - Walhalla (Ben Bording vs Yona Remix) <- link working again!
Sup lads!
Me and my bro (yona) was just messing around with reason and as we both love Walhalla to death we tried to recreate the melody in it....nothing extravaganza but a nice little remix anyways:

Hope you enjoy it...let me know what you think plz too!
Cheers!

Great!like it better than the original, which was in my opinion too cheesy in the break.
WOW, this is an amazing remix!
No idea why people dont leave you any comments but this is truly remarkable work.
The sound quality in this one is top notch, everything is so clear and crisp its amazing.
Nice job in making all those little details and effects
The build up is amazingim afraid to say this but it really tops the original tune for me.
I must hear some of your original work fellows
great bassline, mate
nice passages and arrangement
but feels like abit oldschool
overally great production

thanks alot for your comments! It was actually a rather quick production so everything might not be spot on...
cheers!
yes, dig the bassline.
interesting remix indeed. love the original.
Its great - I love it!
Better than the original and up there with Armin Van Buuren's remix.
Woop, seriously bangin mix. Managed to recapture the vintage gouryella sounds as well. Beautifully melodic. Love it.

id buy it
Thanks alot everyone....really glad you liked it!
very good quality.. some cool effects.. the bassline is very good... but I find it to formulagic.. and it sounds too bright I find it kinda cheesy.. good production... no doubt about it... but maybe we would like to hear something a little more unpredictable.. working on a remix of this myself and I must admit its not very easy...

absolutely brilliant, if you produced this piece 3 years ago you would have been worldfamous and economically independent

very good mixing imo, dont like some of the sounds you used (old type synths and some of the percussions) but its really full and well produced. and melodies are great of course.
Thanks everyone! Quite surprised so many liked it! lol!
really not bad , good job ^^

Great effort guys! Can't really point anything out that I feel could be better or anything really reminiscing about the remix, though good work
Cheers,
Wim

awesome track!
as a music theory dork, one thing that kinda stuck out to me was at 1:24, the synth line
and again at like 1:35
in w/e key, it goes 1122 4433 11122 7711
and the 7 to the 1 is a half step
to me it really seems like it should be a whole step there
i think that that note is the 6 of the root, and should be a minor 6th up from the tonic, instead of a major 6th
its been a year since i've taken theory so i'm not sure if all of that terminology was correct
great work though!
rest of the track was smooth, loved it
Maybe it's simply escaping me, but it seems as though there's no link at this moment.
