| From AP: Woman Hits Steer and Dies; Rancher Blamed LOGAN, Utah - A rancher who authorities allege habitually lets his cattle run loose was arrested for manslaughter after a woman was killed in an accident involving one of his steers, police said. An arrest warrant alleges that Darrell Kunzler, 69, has demonstrated a 30-year pattern of failing to properly contain his livestock, despite repeated requests by law enforcement. more: http://story.news.yahoo.com/news?tm...attle_collision |

I dont know why i am replying, but i am quite chuffed i havent made a spelling mistake yet
Guys the point of my critique was that the farmer is just as responsible for this "traffic accident" as the cow.
Cows aren't exactly known for their haste and agility - I fail to see why the responsibility does not lie nearly 100% on the driver.

is this article for real? I mean, honestly
Utah is a no-fault state. i guess that would be relevant if we were talking just property damage, howerever someone can still be crininally negligent when someone is injured or killed in this case.
