Portsmouth & Everton - the leagues most boring teams ?

Having watched Pompey & Everton this season it has come to my attention that they are probably the most boring sides to watch for the following reasons

Pompey play with 10 men behind the ball and are not bothered about scoring, happy in away games to do as they did last night, an attack in the last 5 minutes. was awful to watch as Liverpool were left trying to score past Jose Mourinho's "bus" saying

Everton - play 4-1-4-1 and again get men behind the ball hoping to hit people on the counter, with lots of 1-0's this season, it's degrading to watch and players like Duncan Ferguson have nothing at all apart from an ability to kick people about.

I've seen my team bolton take a lot of stick this year cos we play direct, but we always go out to score & win games, and I'm proud of that fact. Many people used to goto old trafford, defend and lose. Now People realise that if u attack uniteds backline you have a chance, and we're always like that.

Also - chelsea for one score from as many set pieces as us, yet we get bashed when Jaidi does it, but when John Terry does it it's 'skillful'

I sense some bitterness towards Chelsea too

actually I like chelsea more than arsenal & man utd

I am an Everton fan and have to agree with u Ian. Everton are using similiar tactics to Greece in Euro. But I think the board would prefer the team to be playing negative defensive football and get results, than to try and play attractive football and finish in the bottom half of the table again.

i dont mind teams being boring, but when theyre boring and win load slike everton its fuckign annoying fair play to them 2nd in the league.
