Istvan Safranyos - Empathy - Vocals Needed

Hello,

Just a sample of my latest boring track.
Any feedbacks would be appreciated.

I would like to make a vocal version of this track,
therefore I would need some vocals.

Istvan Safranyos - Empathy (sample)

awesome and firm percussion line.. the first melodic reminds me alot of Kamaya Painters, I hear some "Touched By The Sun" similarities as well... cool FX.. the bassline is truly excellent... really like this productionwise.. the melody is kinda laidback and subtle as well.. and that bassline.. WOW..

excellent work dood... to bad u aint sharing the whole thing.. if u use Reason I will eat my hat...

Posted by DjCommisad on Dec-15-2004 20:30:

he used reason.

nice, you took a few suggestions i made into consideration, i still think u should push that synth a bit more, or just drop it from before the first break down, its still short a phrase or two.

still love the ambience of the first break. nice melody. nice, ill have to put my headphones on and recheck your low levels.

i still think u can touch that piano during the break a tad to make it sound more natural, a bit of delay or echo on it by a tad, maybe give it a 1 or 2 bar solo into the next phase of your break? (but hopefully i'll get a sample of the main breakdown and see what you've done with it there).

buildup is still sweet.

i look forward to the finished product.

Is it me, or do all of these armin pluck chord melodies always sound exactly the same. They make me nautious now because they represent the dying of original trance.

Other than that, nice track, very ASOT, well produced, just too generic for my tastes.

hey Steve,

Really good stuff man and well-mastered. The (AvB) Synths are great, the FX is good. I love the female choir in the breakdown the melody and bass are good... make the percussion a bit harder
I enjoyed this track
keep it up mate!

it sounds very good, good job man

hey, Steve,

finally you got time finish off a new track

actually, i really like this track, remind me some Aalto stuffs or something

the percussion on the bassline is really fit the track, i really like the bassline, it's driving, the melody is nice, same for the FXes, i could hear this tune in the ASOT or something,

so keep up the excellent work, mate,

Peter

sounds cool, if generic. it's lacking a lot when it kicks in tho, mainly with the synth...

Posted by JohnOC on Dec-16-2004 18:23:

the production quality is fantastic.
the lead is a bit "euro"
try find a nicer lead synth and structure the break a bit better and this is an even better track

Gotta agree with the part about the lead, it sounds a bit too simple? I think it lacks some energy/feeling when it kicks back in.

Intro is very good, although generic, but should work out very well.

Keep us updated mate
Cheers,
Wim

i must agree

sounding very good m8, just a little work on the synth u need, it sounds too subtractorish hehe
peace out

Hey, I pretty much agree with all that's been said so far. The arminish plucks in the begining sound cool, but they've just been done before by alot of folks.

Production quality is quite nice, maybe a bit more volume on the kick But thats preferance!

Awesome job, enjoyable track - will buy it when its out!!

Agree with the others on it being generic. And that pluck, i've heard it a million times hehe. sounds good though .
Amazing bassline btw.

Peace out, keep it up.

Antonio Gomez.

I my self don't really listen to all that ASOT stuff, so that pluck is rather refreshing for me.

- The vibe is definatly nice. Almost bittersweet. I miss those times when this kind of trance is golden.
- After the break it gets a bit repetitive. You ought to keep the listener interested.
- Make the bass more prominent and sharp.

Thanks mates. It is highly appreciated. I guess it is high time to polish my style, anyway.

Posted by Mycron on Dec-21-2004 10:19:

if i will have some free time, i will give it a shot for a remix for sure, brother

keep up the good work

Posted by DjCommisad on Dec-21-2004 10:23:

oh no!!! brother remixing brother!

Posted by EtherealSL on Dec-22-2004 01:30:

yea generic, but good at what it is... keep it up

Posted by dbl on Dec-23-2004 14:12:

sounds nice... but that pluck in the start sounds exactly like something i have heard before.. can't remember a track name thou.. thought it was a remix at first.. heh

think the kick could need some more power maybe...
don't really like the synth for the lead.. could need some work

other then that it sounds nice

Empathy.

I like the sounds you are using.

0:50 nice break. Again, good section of sounds

1:00 Great Bass!! the angels/choir is nice.

1:40 rythme builds
1:57 beat kicks in. WOW. this is great. Great production you got here Istvan. You teh professional

You gotta post the whole track. I wanna here teh whole thing!!

thanks mate!

Sounds are nice, except for that lead synth. it seems to be lacking a little.

But this is way too generic to stand out...

I need some vocals for this track.

- The kick's good and the bass is great, loved it.
- I think you should add a couple more layers of percs or drumloops in the background. Nice clap, btw.
- You've got some really cool fx there.
- I didn't really like the female choir in the break.
- Nice melody, liked the guitar, but I think you should change your lead, it's too "euro" IMO.
- When the melody takes off, well, I don't know, it's kinda lacking like Luke said. If I were you I'd add a loud "whoooosh" fx when all the elements kicks in..but it's just me
I think that overall it's a quality production, just need a lil more work and you have an ace.
