Hey all,

been a long time since I posted anything up here, sorry for that - guess I was too scared to give anything away That and the fact that I was very busy with some releases.

Here's a lofi version and a hifi sample of the track:

good to hear something new from you. listening now, i dont think the melody is particularly memorable. production sounds flawless even at thislow bit-rate thou. its good all round in my opinion just nothing really new kinda heard lots of similar tracks before, although i can see it fitting nicely inn any trance djs set its a nice builder type track.

I think a shorter edit - higher quality sample would have been better to judge the tune mate

But from what I can hear it sounds phat as usual.
Melody is awsome as is the percussion

Hehe woh that's Icone sounding. Bass, fx, plucky synth, piano, fxs.. Nothing new in that aspect. And the melody of I Feel Lost fits over it perfectly, lot of resemblence.

Of course, melody and sounds ARE nice! Good luck releasing this!!

i like the way you focused more on the atmosphere, instead of just banging it out. lovely pads you've got there, good melody too. love the Superstring thing you did with bass right at the beginning of the breakdown, i'm guessing that sounds massive on a dancefloor.. it should come back more often

good stuff tho wim, i think the build up to the climax is a bit pansy-arse for the rest of the track. i do like the way u seem to have said goodbye to the crash/reverse kick/filtering snare fills. it sounds infinitely better for it

This is pretty cool Wim! Not really the sorta thing I'd expect from your Icone guise - thats usually more harder edge trance! This is good though I'd strengthen those synths up during the break! Flawlessly produced though chap! The labels should love this - get up of your arse mate and send it out!

Luke: cheers there mate reason you haven't gotten anything is because I can't just send out stuff... Label thingy. I'll think of something for our collab - just lacking some inspiration for it atm, but I'll get to it.

Steve: Softer lead this time, combined with some stronger groove I guess. There's some typical Icone things in there though? I'll see what I can do with it

Yeah your right Wim - Icone bassline and strong percussion - guess I'm too used to those big breaks! This hasn't disappointed at all - least your sound is going in a slightly different direction - go for it mate 100% support!

I would say rethink some parts of the melody a bit.

On the other I would be the first to remix this song:P, after I finish my other remix on your song. Apologizing mate that it takes so much time.

The lead is nice, and for the first time you made it upfront in the mix. well at least first time I hear in you'r Icone productions.

Wim I thought about it a little and there is something missing with you're tracks (Don't bash me everybody :P).
They doesn't sound full enough.
More precs and pads should do the trick.
I think that from what I heard only sorrow is full but even that track is not full enough.
Something is missing but I donnu what yet.
Thats why you're getting 4/5 instead of 5/5.
Try making you're tracks with more athmosphere and feelings otherwise pepole will get sick of it after a while.

Omer: I'd love to add more, but I don't want to overdo... Complexity doesn't always do the trick (look at my remix of 'The Story Teller' - some people didn't like it because of its complexity). Maybe I should bring some elements I've added more to the foreground - will think about it.
