Call on Me (progressive trance mix)
does anyone have this track? I heard the original one, well not really the original from the 80s, but the Eric Prydz version a couple of days ago. I heard the progressive trance remix on di.fm trance channel and i cant seem to find it anywhere.
btw: i luv the video too
it's the Markus Schulz reconstruction. he was just messing around one day, like back in the day.

its the markus schulz reconstruction for sure...
Hey played it on GDJB once and credited it to himself.
I didn't like it though.
the song as a whole only works as a house track, it just sounds odd in a trancey style
the track was stolen in the 1st place

Go here and listen to the sample of Valerie
The tracks that they sampled are obviously different, and I really don't hear that many other similarities between the tracks. They're both french house/filter house tracks, and they all pretty much sound the same anyway (french house tracks, that is) but not really to the point where they sound exactly the same.
i see what your saying, but you can't deny call on me almost being an exact copy of so much love to give, the structure is almost 100% the same...
I haven't heard both tracks in full so I can't comment about the structure. Both of them are repetitive, which adds to their catchiness, so there is that similarity. But they're still different tracks to me.

I think the reason you think they sound similar is that they are both in the key of F#.
And yes, Markus was just messing around one night with it,and he only played it a few times at live gigs, one of them which was recorded aired on Global DJ Broadcast.
