ne hard trance junkies?

i noticed this site is packed with prog. heads and there is even more mention of all things house than there is of hard trance and hardstyle.... is there ne1 who likes hard trance and hard beats in general, or am i the only one?? theres a lot of prog. DJs too i noticed, are there any other hard trance DJs that would like to share some of their stuff? sets, tracks, etc.? my aim sn is HUGMEIMADJ... hit me up

I like any kind of trance, even hard trance, but no hardstyle for me. I need more than just a thumping bass, there must be melody and complexity to the tune.

yea... like 80% of hardstyle is just recycling of different producers beats, basses, synths, etc. its a very unoriginal genre.... BUT, theres a little 20% of hardstyle tracks that make me go nutssssss.

Hard trance is the sh1t!
Hard style is again, like you said, is basically just bass beats and synths. Though, I do love to listen to some sets by DJ Luna, Darkraver, Pavo, Dana and others.
What hard trance dj's do you listen to?

None of those are even remotely hard.

Listen to some Scot Project or some Yoji Biomehanika and you'll see what I'm saying.

You can count me as a fan, but it has to be the right time and place - I can't listen to it all day long, that's for sure.

idk if u were joking, but if u werent, ehhhh.... check out some DuMonde, Alphazone, Cosmic Gate, SHOKK, if u want to get an idea of what HARD TRANCE is like (which isnt nething like happy hardcore, especially for the the fact that its at least 20 beats per minute less, and not cheesy and wierd)..... and if u wanna hear some hardstyle (not harder styles, thus, not tech-trance... tech-trance... is tech-trance), check out DJ Luna, Lady Dana, Deepack, Luca Antolini, and others for some good stuff.... i can share with u some beats so u can get the premonition that hard trance = happy hardcore out of ur head.... unless of course u were being sarcastic lol

For the most part, I'm in the same boat as you. However, this last track in Yoji Biomehanika's Sensation 2004 set is winning me back over to the dark side. LOL

Last night I was having a conversation with a local deep-house DJ who said he doesn't like trance because of it's lack of "soul." It's all subjective if you ask me.

dont get me wrong, I still LOVE going to partys where they're banging hard trance.. but I just prefer the proggy sound more now.. I like driving to prog.. I also get less speeding tickets now.
