King

HI,
Well being relativly new to the world of trance (around 6 - 8 months) im very much into finding out as much info as i can and something id really like to hear is the true classics that help define the genre.. now i got hooked on this ever since i heard binary finary 1998 from a friend way back and ever since i have been expanding my mp3 collection and cds like mad but basically id really like to know some really really kick ass tracks i know some tracks will mean more to some than others hell thats what this kinda music is all about the differant levels it affect but id really like to hear what some undisputed classics no matter how old (even if it dates back to house etc) for example Age of Love and Verocha - Carte Blache are meant to be CLASSIC right? :P so gimme what you think! :P
ps. i think Yahel voyage FUCKING OWNS! (tiestos remake!)

yes I love Classics

Hm to me Classics mean the beginning of the Trance Aera...about 1993/94 in Germany !! If Swamper wants to put the Classic Mix I posted on this Forum you will hear some of my favourites.

My all time classic is Velocity "Future". This Track is still unbeaten up to now, because it tells you a whole Story with up and downs..If you can get it, you will maybe indertand what I mean !! Another hammer Classic Track is Jam + Spoon "Follow Me" and Emmanuel Top's "Acid Phase". Also in my mind is on the Eye Q Label (Sven Vth founded it!) Zyon "No Fate" or Vernon with "Vernons Wonderland" or Odysee of Noise "Firedance". Here is a link to a Page, where you can also check Tunes from the Harthouse Label:

Have Fun and enjoy ... DJelloun

Couldn't resist. These date back to 92/93, most of them is old. I'm not fond of all of them, but you can't dispute their status as classics:

Energy 52 "Caf del Mar (Three'n One Remix)"
Storm "Storm"
Westbam "Wizards of Sonic"
6xSix "Into Your Heart (Tall Paul Mix)"
Space Frog "(X-Ray) Follow Me"
Art of Trance "Madagascar (Original Mix)"
BBE "Seven Days And One Week"
Yomanda "Synth & Strings"
Mauro Picotto "Lizard"
Sosa "The Wave"
Commander Tom "Are Am Eye"
Antiloop "In My Mind"
Prodigy "Out of Space"
DJ Quicksilver "Boing"
Snap! "Rhythm is a Dancer"
Gouryella "Gouryella"
Abfahrt "Alone (It's Me)"
Movin Melodies "La Luna"
Awex "It's Our Future"
Tom Wilson "Techno Cat"
RMB "Love is an Ocean"
Emmanuel Top "Turkish Bazar"
Future Breeze "Why don't you dance with me"
Three Drives on a Vinyl "Greece 2000"

Damn. Now I'll have to go listen to Awex. The next couple of weeks I'll play it a lot, and often. My neighbours hate it, when I get nostalgic.

CJ Bolland - "The Prophet"

When I first heard this track in 1999 I played it loud and went nuts...

Absolutely insane hard banger from 1997... love that sort of shit

DJ Tisto has NOTHING to do with the Orange Theme!!!!
If it is the track i think you mean it is from a tiesto album (Moonmans orange juice mix mabye..)

The orginal was relesed in 1994!!!!!

Posted by -DoomBringer- on Feb-01-2001 20:47:

Auch... no need for shouting

I'm no expert.

and I said Tisto/ <- that's a slash Cygnus X as in Or. ('cause I got multiple files on my Hdd , some state Tisto , some state Cygnus X)
