It's Christmas!

Christmas is such a special time of the year for all the boys and girls.... No such slack I see for the men and women though, except for time off of work. And that's not a bad thing when you look at it either.

Problem is people tend to regard you as strange when take off of work dduring non-holiday periods when its not related to deaths in the family or the like. I for one, don't take time off just to coincide with holidays. For instance, I take a few days off in the winter when striped bass are running, and folks think I have a family problem. I've even been told coming back from fishing holidays that they were sorry for the loss in my family. WTF is up with people?

Well, I indicated to my co-workers that I HATE this holiday, and I dressed in black for almost the entire month, yet I STILL got Xmas cards, and a couple of crappy gifts. Some people just can't take a hint. Bah, humbug.
