dark, driving, creepy, mysterious... beautiful?
I really like tracks of the kind described by the subject of this post. Songs that make you shiver, but can also be danced to, not overly minimalistic. Haunting vocals are a plus. I'll throw out some examples of what I'm talking about, and hopefully I can get some responses with similar tracks you guys like

check out stuff by luka chable. Probably more to the prog breaks side, but his songs are truly unique.

Off the top of my head, Digweed's GU 019: Los Angeles and Bedrock compilations would be right up your alley. They're just dark and driving enough, without being boring and ploddy like most prog post-2001.
