I just got the American Audio DCD-Pro210 and have never mixed on a dual cd player. If I hit cue, it goes into some mode where the beat will get softer and louder when you move the jog wheel & I guess when the bass gets lighter it's the start of a beat?

It also seems I can mix from one cd to a vinyl but can't mix from cd to cd any chance it could be my crappy sony headphones?

haha you got the same cd player as me....

yes, use the cue mode to get to where you want to start the track
