what will win over the new dvd formats? blu-ray or hd-dvd
hopefully its going to be blue-ray cause hddvd is just shit. plus blu ray is from SONY and microsoft sucks. xbox sucks and so does halo 2
GO SONY!!!! PS3 will the the king once again in 2006 or early 2007. and this time around, sony will be the most powerful spec wise
HD-DVD
I read that Blu-Ray had lost out in a major vote, and would probably end up not being used to it's full potential
Heh, I was talkin about this with my brother last night.. anyone care to specify both of them in detail? I know about Blu-Ray.. but what about this HD -DVD.. what's the deal with this?

HD-DVD will win hands down.. especially when the cost of manufacturing the HDs are lesser compared to Blu-Ray and base itself on the exisisting DVD media.

I dont know much about these new formats, but I have seen a Lord Of The Rings trailer in HD-DVD format. The file sizes were huge but the quality was amazing.
Seriously, whichever company markets ther product better will win the war
well- the answer should be obvious-- the blue-ray (holds 27 gigs rather than hd-dvd's 15 gigs). but, as mentioned before, who ever wins the marketing war.
