-- I'm going to Greece!
I'm going to Greece!
On the 29th I will be departing Melbourne to visit my fathers homeland for the first time. I'll be spending a couple of days in Athens and then a couple of weeks in Xanthi, where all my relatives are which I've never seen before. I'll hopefully be able to watch Xanthi vs Ionikos on the 16th. This is my first trip overseas and I'm real excited

Back, wow what a trip that was, I love Greece! I didn't want to come back. I really love the going out till 8am lifestyle, which is non-existent in Australia. Highlights of the trip were:
-Watching Skoda Xanthi play for the first time, in a cup match against Levadeiakos, Xanthi played well and won 3-0. Players who impressed me most were Luciano & Antzas
-The strip of cafes in Thessaloniki that stretches out for about 2 kilometres
-Seeing the Parthenon
-Visiting all my relatives that I have never seen before

Enjoy
My dad's also Greek (and coincidentally, lived in Melbourne where you're from for some time), the family mostly live in Thessaloniki. I've been there a few times (and to their summer house in Halkediki) and it's very nice. Shame I can hardly speak a word of Greek...
And Aris football team own your ass
Armin is supposed to be in Greece in April, and possibly Ferry in April/May so I might head out there and see him with Maria.
