HappyHappy Al Azar - Symphony in Blue [256kbps]

Hi dudes. If you remember the third 'TrancEaddicts Unite!' mix then chances are you'll recognise this track, written especially for the occasion by myself and Nik. Over the last couple of days we've been doing a little bit of tinkering (as we so often do) in order to share it with you prior to Nik's imminent departure. ENJOY!

Al Azar - Symphony in Blue

Oh, and there's more where this came from...just wait.

very nice, in usual al azar standard, great, so shall we slapp on a release tag and release this?

Posted by Massive84 on Dec-28-2004 18:46:

damn damn... such an awesome track!

love the emotion in this, and yes i remember it from unite .

Stupid that labels don't wanne sign such great piece of music, they are only intrested in beats and a simple arp now days.

Either way thanks for this.

Out of curiousity Nik and Mart, what does Al Azar stand for? Just something you came up with or does it have a meaning? It does sound cool.

It's weird how everyone keeps expecting that seeing how out of about 10 tracks/remixes of ours 2 are actually uplifting...

Yep, that's the standard procedure

It means "In Random", since that pretty much sums us up. No specific style or genre that we do, but a little bit of everything.

But moreso trancey breaks.

What?? No 128kbit 2min sample.

Hmpf I need to listen again. Missed the whole tune cause was arguing with friend how I should do his band's website.

I don't know what to say about this... I pretty stunned.

Jeeez i was thinking.. what's that smell?!

Seems there's a hat on the kick.. found no other way to punchy the kick i guess There seems to be some clipping on the first and third kick of each bar, because of the bass and kick together.

Yep this is surely my favourite Al Azar track, great melody. Maybe it's because i like the TA Unite 3 so much. Nice to hear the full now in stead of a version in a mix.

i was thinking that before, it's not clipping, it just sounds fairly weird on a system with any kind of active sub on it. i would suggest rethinking the bass has to be said, rest is spot on tho

That's weird. When I was listening through my monitors I couldn't hear anything wrong with it but when I put on my headphones I can hear exactly what you mean. I need to look into this...

Posted by Mane on Dec-28-2004 22:46:

Oops, I broke the track.

I love this track. It makes me well happy, lol. Love it when it goes to 4 to the floor, but the breaks are extremely sweet too.

Really awesome stuff guys.

yeah i get that problem sometimes, it makes u think.. why the fuck did i fork out for monitors.. lol. but i always find it best to test all my tracks on as many systems as posible, and with headphones, its really worth while.

anyway dling now.. ill post when i get it, my connection is being a bitch again

Posted by Mike_Foyle on Dec-30-2004 01:10:

yeah this is quite nice, the strings and melody are sweet.. and the breakbeat.. some of the synths, like that lead, sound a bit.... ummmmmmmmmmmm, i duno "presety" almost, the one that starts at 2:20 is the one im talking about, i think that sound could use some work, but its really no big deal. the vibe in this is awsome, really cool melody and feel to it... those strings are magical. over all im missing something, it sounds like the overall mix could use some work, like the sounds are all quite bland and static at the mo (to my ears).. oh wow.. just went 4x4.. thats awsome... now it sounds great!! so i take back most of what i said about the sounds being bland.. they sound great here. this is lovely, just that one lead i dont like. give it some more reverb or something i recon, and take off some of that release to give the reverb some room. anyway great track, i like it i actually dont hear the bass issue.. but im listening through headphones right now, ill try it on a decent system tomoro.

Mike
