Question Do you need 2 soundcards for Virtual DJ Timecode if you use PC speakers?

Ok so I'm looking at this alternative and it does seem pretty damn good, I watched the video, searched this forum, and it seems a good thing, I'll buy the timecodevinyls and the soundcard. One question though, if I'll connect my 2 techs to the soundcard and then hook it to my mixer, and since I still have a EFX-500 connected to the master out, I guess I won't be able to connect it back to that soundcard 'cos it ran out of outputs? so will I still need my current soundcard to reproduce sound? Will there be any conflicts? Also, maybe a stupid question, but will the EFX-500 work over the timecoded vinyls? I think the answer is yes but...
thanks a lot!

Efx-500 will work over any type of sound input. I am not familiar w/ exactly how the timecoded vinyl programs like final scratch opperate, but it was always my understanding that you are going to basically want a computer devoted to that. If you spin out a lot or plan to, you are going to want a laptop so that you can spin your tracks.

You then repeat this for the other deck with another soundcard... your mixers main out shouldnt be affected.

I'm getting that Maya 44 USB soundcard that has a double input/output so I'll be able to connect both TTs to it.. but I still need one more soundcard hooked to the mixer and the speakers to get sound I guess

yeh, I always consider a laptop for playing out but I still buy a lot of vinyl and burn paid mp3s from release records, beatport etc to cdr so that's not the problem, it's just I wanted to try this thing as well, add something to my repertoire :P

no you dont, u just need a rca spliter. thats what i do.

to make sound come into the pc speakers, all i did was used the mixer output into my onboard soundcards input, get one of those rca split cables that has the phone jack input.
