is it me or does it seem....

like there is a shortage of new tracks coming out???

it seems like there are more and more 2004/2005 remake remixes coming out as well as older trance being repressed????

try'n to get a mix a month out has become very hard these days

No, it's not just you.

Blame profit incentives, marketers, self-important British progressive, Amsterdam airwaves and Miami nightlife.

so we have too many musicians, yet not enough music?

very interesting year this has been, argh

'Tis true! I approve.

as myself (and n0bben) always say - pack the fuck up with remaking the classics as they're being turned into gash half-assed attempts that take the gloss & special feelings away that the originals generated. Fair enough 1 or 2 tracks will always get remade but it's about time we had good original material for us to enjoy again

I was complaining >back in March<, actually.

But nooo. They just kept on flooding in.

2005 looks like it's going to be the same... if they even think about touching gouryella, walhalla or tenshi however I'll hang whoever did it and let everyone throw stones at them

there are some tracks coming out, but they lack quality.

most of the newer stuff coming out is cack compared to the sound of 1999-2000

2005 will be a damn good year for prog and house. I dont know about trance though.

there is a big shortage on trance,
but i must say, some of the current trance is pretty decent (Primer - Everlast, Kyau vs. Albert - Made Of Sun)

There is a mass abundance of prog out right now... and interestingly, lots of great techno on the rise....
heh... but i know what your saying when it comes to spinning trance...

in the trance side of things its true, but on the prog front...now thats a different story

Amen. It will be a great year to diversify from trance into house.
