i got $500 to spend and i been looking at THIS
anyone know if they are good or any better ones in the same price range?

With that cash I would try and get a decent second hand pioneer CMX3000...
but that is just personal choice.....

i say if youre a beginner than go for it, its only a bedroom dj set after all. Once you get better you can always upgrade !

Oh and ebay has a CMX for 630$ starting bid,so i dont think hell get that. Unless you can get a couple houndred bucks, still dont trust ebay.

that's a decent setup for a beginner
i wouldn't go with the pioneer headphones though
they do sound better than the v700 but they also have a bad track record
i'd recommend the sonys or sennheiser for headphones
