big THX to Vic Hyype for making this wonderful loop

I spoke to you about this on msn mate, its komodo dragons stylee for definate, but what i suggest is you keep the bongos and perc, and go for the komodo dragons rock style bassdrum, your clap is already similar , do there rock style rhythms.

The bass i think could be made a little dirty, but thats just ideas.

good luck subtle its already damn awesome imo.

good precs and bass.
don't like the pads.
3/5

youve made some great percs man. bass is nice too. not sure about the pad at all.

having problems telling what style it is really and i dig those percs.

yeh the pads are discussable.. thx for the feedback.. i may remove pads.. just may

As said before, good percs and bass. A saw pad doesn't really fit into this tribal(ish) song imo. Not totally into this song, it's something...

The percs are awesome like I told you before on MSN.

0:00 love your percussion.

0:16 the bass drum sounds OK.

0:45 Bass reminds me of an eighties song. sound good though. Pretty funky.

A hear a sounds of a pad that may be from absynth.

1:47 The main pads sound like a fake trumpet. Not sure if I like it.

3:33 like the the sound of the rythme that just came in. That is pretty catchy

4:17 Love that sound. But you know me, I love deep distorted grunting sounds

Hey Subtle

I really enjoyed this - the percussion sounds great.

Ill go against the norm and say I liked the pads, fits the song quite well I think. Maybe just change the timing of it a bit. The phased saw is good too - adds to the melody.
Pretty damn decent so far, definitely finish this.

Dancing Dude

hey m8, the pad could be better, could turn it more into a nice phat synth, the overall song has a sad mood to it,
i like the beats, nice use of percs, and i like the back synth melody a lot, the rave one....
pretty kewl track m8, was turning into kinda push style near the end with that breakbeat and bass synth hehe
keep it up man
peace out

let's finish this thing already!

Posted by doreemix on Jan-09-2005 03:03:

nice percs again Subtle!
bass needs more volume
i figure whats the intention of the pad, (and if it is what i'm thinking i'll love it) but try some saws with a cut-off filter

peace

Arerson.

awesome tune imo.

The pads i heard now, are good imo..they just need to be brighter and louder.

the perc are really awesome, bass could radiate a bit more, but the bassline is great!

the part at 4.48 reminds a bit on Push hehe, you need to make the synths scream IMO, even at headphones they sound way to soft.

Work on it, can be very good this.

thx for the feedback... i didnt realise it sounded so Push in the last minutes there.. but when I think about "Journey Of Life" it certainly does.. and yes.. he is my favorite producer..

really nice percs and bass!
kinda laidback trancer...
some nice synths you got going on in this one...
i guess, theres nothing more to add to the other feedback...

waiting for full release! nice one again...

Wow, nice and fresh sounds I hear so far.

As some already mentioned, some elements like the bass have to be worked out better. The pads are very nice, but need to be EQ'ed for more high frequencies.

Anyway, I'm really looking forward to the finished track, for me it fits very good to stuff released on Progrez... I'd love to mix this track with DJ Fire - Formentera.

arctic light: nice u would like to play the track.. but i am having a hard time finshing this track though.. will post when playable..

Hi there mate!

I dont like these kinds of house beats, so dont take my opinion too serious . The pad as one mentioned could be lusher. Add more release maybe also more panning.

Antonio.
