[Psytrance] "Zero Manifesto" - Pure Mindf**king Madness

Hey!
Just wanted to present you my newest creation "Zero Manifesto". This one is for all those who like their Psytrance hard and dark, trippy stuff without melodies perfect for late night.

This is wip - work in progress, so I'm gonna add some FX and better fills as well as some minor mastering issues.

Enough talking, grab it and tell me what you think

Love teh initial sounds.

0:15 not sure about that bass drum. sound really muffled; but still freaken hardcore as hell

0:46 crack that drum (maybe add some reverb to it)

1:00 wow love that trippy sound!

1:43 nice layering.

2:40 kewl!!

3:50 bombardment of the senses!

~~ 7:20 that intial sound comes back in only for a short time


If you didnt say it was WIP, I would have thought it to be a finished tune!

I like this, its mad and trippy, good change from the usual uplifting trance

It's not the kind of thing I could listen to all day, I'd probably end up going insane but the production is definitly not bad, keep it up

Good to see psy in this forum.

Love the bass in this. Some other very trippy sounds, cool sounds. Could use some more work tho, but I'm being picky.

I think I got it pretty much finished now.

- changed the kick (with more 'knock' now)
- the bass should be slightly more silent
- added some FX
- added some background action
- changed the song structure (towards the end there is even more insanity now ... the song is also a little longer now)
- some elements were cut
- added better (snare) fills
- changed the intro
- minor changes on percussion
- some very little EQ knob tweaks

Enjoy, hope its really improved now

- changed the kick (with more 'knock' now): I liked the cleaner sound of the earlier kick though.
- the bass should be slightly more silent: The balance is good now!
- added some FX: Nice!
- added some background action: The track isn't as empty as before, nice touch.
- changed the song structure (towards the end there is even more insanity now ... the song is also a little longer now): I noticed hehe..
- added better (snare) fills:
- changed the intro: Yeah, good and dark fx intro, fits well.

The kick however I only changed because I use it in so many of my tunes that I thought this one needs a different one

The intro's nice and trippy.

The overdrive on the kick is kind of off-putting, although I suppose it's part of the sound of the song.

I must say, that track raped my through my ears so hard that my brains are leaking out of my mouth. Awesome track; I'd say you were quite successful.

I think it's total crap. Why does anyone choose to produce shit like this anyway? Seriously... No offence, but this kind of music is worthless, imo.

That's pretty narrowminded. Obviously some people enjoy this type of music so why shouldn't they produce what they enjoy? Respect other people's tastes.

I like this track, its not my type of thing, but its well produced and would probably work a floor well.

I'd be careful with such statements... I originally listened to Industrial and Metal so I'm more into the noisier, darker stuff. If you ask me, that 'cheesy' melodic trance sucks... but nobody producing that style of music wants to hear that. I respect them for they found a way of self-expression. I think producing music is all about putting creativity and passion into something constructive, dont you agree?
Anyway, I love Psytrance for it has some qualities which I cant find in any other style (not much of a judgement, just my personal impression)... and if I decided to produce a genre I don't like I think I couldn't put maximum effort and fervor into it.

Time for something with a more darker edge, yeah.
I like this one, good bassline + percussion. I think it sits somewhere between Psy & Psytekk, because of it's minimalism. Good job on those sounds and especially the vocals. No need to 'search' for that melody, it's done... nice job!

this track is a pure psychedelic mindblast, a journey through different dimensions

sometimes reminds me of planet b.e.n.'s trippy future garden album.

concerning style it's quite oldschool psychedelic trance, but that doesn't matter imo.
