don't know if this is illegal or anything, but if a moderator thinks so, then please, delete the post. It seems pretty harmless to me.

You know those security cameraes you can control through the internet, such as changing the angle and stuff ?

Well, they all use the same URL, and if not password protected, it is very easy for anyone with an internet connection.

Just try this search:

There you can mess around with security cameras =)

I really have no idea at all how all the legal stuff works, or even how this thing works, but they own the cameras sure, but its all on the internet, and its not like we're "hacking" into anything, we're just visiting that website which we find through google.

I don't see how that would be illegal, but I'm sure I'm wrong.

Private property ( your own house ) and a public access webcam are 2 separate things; there's no point to compare here.
