great great remix ! i really love the synthwork. the kick is nice and powerful too

listening to this remix after some other mp3s from my playlist, i think some work can still be done on the mixing try and make the different parts sound more clear/distinct ! but i love it

awesome job !

Any where to get the full version?

Downloading Mane remix... would love to hear it

Posted by Massive84 on Jan-04-2005 17:32:

hmm i remixed this way back

I couldn't hear it properly on shit speakers, but the synths sound really nice and the break is nicely done.

hmm mite remix this again anywhere in the future since i have a new pc now.

Posted by staticblue on Jan-04-2005 17:35:

Dj Dinz: no i didn't want to send the old version to labels, it sounded really bad

Massive: would be nice same style as your old remix, but with your new techniques

Nice remix, great synth work !

The track has a nice atmosphere and a great flow.
My only tic is that the bass drum is a tad too heavy, It's a great sample but seems to overpower the rest of the track a bit too much. But I'm just nit-picking now

Nice work !

Pretty nice remix so far! I like the overall feel of it, nice atmosphere.

It was a bit hard for me to get an impression on the main melody, because of the big atmosphere, perhaps I'd set it a bit louder. I do think the kick is a tad too strong for the tune (also very 'deep'), it sort of absorbs the bassline at some points. I also think you need a good hihat to keep it driving... I kept waiting for it during the buildup, but it never came

Cheers,
Wim

hi man really like some of your stuff. this is also not bad at all. that kick sounds great in fact i think it sounds to good and dominating for the type of track it is, everything else seems to be getting pushed to the background. synths are good but need to be louder theyre getting drowned out by the atmosphere.

agree also with lightworks about the hat it needs one to keep it flowing needs another loop of percussion i think.

anyway good work man, your getting better everytime

You're making progress m8

This is a nice track but there are some level issues. The hats and the kick are far too loud compared to the synths. The bass is hard to hear but i think it's a bit muddy and collides with the kick. Maye some sort of clap or snare can bring some pace to the track. Look at the low sine "boom" as well, its too loud and bassy

The buildup is there, but there are hardly any introducing sounds, like snarerolls or crashes, so you need to accentuate climaxes and changes.

Pads and percs are well thought of, the track surely has potential.

Keep up!

ok i uploaded new version, chceck 1st post for link :P

Posted by EtherealSL on Jan-13-2005 22:52:

nice track, moving

are there two bassline synths, ones that does lowend and one that does midrange (the grundgy one)

the midrange bass sounds great, i think it should be more stereoseparated and lowered in volume... but for the bassline i don't hear any subbass at all

breakdown is fine, there's no crash or anything that transitions from teh buildup into the mainsection... the snares rise in volume and then the main section comes in without a crash, that could use fixing, imo

just a couple revisions and this song will get the crowd stompin'

Posted by Sunquest on Jan-14-2005 02:31:

hey man, ok first off, i think too much reverb on ur bass, and synth
u need to make ur bass real clear and sharp, pumped in the face
and the trance synth needs to also be sharper, its because u got too much reverb...
the piano is nice, melody u know how to do hehe, so thats good,
so its pretty much less reverb and making each sound sound really clear, work on each sound, 1 by 1,

ttyl

Awesome track rite here man, the synths are really sweet, the bass is good.. perfect stuff.. makes me wanna work on my remix too.. good job and keep it up..

Posted by tylerc on Jan-14-2005 23:48:

the synths are very nice, but the bass still sounds really muddy. i also think there were waaay too many crashes during the build, but then there wasnt one when it kicked in, which was odd.

pretty nice work tho.

1st post updated for those who would like to get it enjoy

Posted by staticblue on May-30-2005 14:43:

good update man,

your remix is very nice

Posted by Stu Cox on May-30-2005 15:17:

Not bad at all, breakdown's really good although it lacks a crash or some other hit sound when it comes back in (would probably sound fine without the crashes before it). I can hardly hear the bassline though, definately bring that out more. Synths are really good, you just need to tidy things up a bit and you're there.

5/10

(Scale: 0 = don't bother, 1-3 = needs work, 4-5 = nearly there, 6-8 = releasable, 9-10 = I'd play it)

Posted by PDM on May-30-2005 17:33:

Nice track mate.

I think the kick is just too powerful for the mood of the track, and the bassline needs to be more audible, for the rest, it's all good buddy!!

Posted by pho mo on May-31-2005 02:49:

It really is a beautiful melody in this one, and the synths you've chosen suit it brilliantly. I loved listening to this one, really nice work mate.
About the only thing that didn't grab me was the bassline, there are some nice rhythms going on in the mid->high range but the bassline just kinds of plods - that could simply be due to the fact that it is slightly mudddy, i dunno.
Anyway, really nice remix - very very good stuff.
