well the mp3 quality makes it a bit of a mess (no pun intended), so it's hard to judge the track properly.

you do seem to have a written a gorgeous melody again.

Posted by Klangzentrum on Jan-04-2005 11:55:

damn solid track! you can guess the amazing soundquality even from the 96kb/s sample...
melody is cool...bassline andkick remind me somehow on "dust wave" in rising star remix...cant be bad
some nice fx, youve got going on there...
dont know if it is because of the 96sample, but why arent there any highs above 10khz?

great production...

Hey Ron, nice one... i think this is more serious than previous material.
More sound like it

Posted by Mr.Mystery on Jan-04-2005 12:32:

C'mon, if you're gonna post samples at least make them listenable quality.

Posted by alexpea on Jan-04-2005 12:55:

Unlistenable

u bastards hehe there, 128, enjoy

Posted by staticblue on Jan-04-2005 14:46:

powerful stuff man i think your tracks are getting fuller and fuller. be careful they dont become too busy tho

nice kick aswell don't really like the melodic part of it, but ALOT of energy here.

Hey Sunquest!

NIce track so far!
My only critisicm is the kick - for some reason I don't think it fits the track. Maybe deepen it a bit.
Thats it! The melody is really well done - sort of PUSH sound to it - and it is nice and driving.
Good job

very nice and powerful stuff

really roxx

cheers

Posted by jahala on Jan-04-2005 19:51:

I absolutely agree.. This kick doesnt fit the rest of the track..

The atmosphere is great and so is the melody. Very nice track, but you either:

1. Have a lousy mp3-encoder.
2. Dont spend enough time eq'ing and mastering

I loved the sounds in general, but not the general sound of it all. Way too muddy and in the back.

But i can hear a great idea buried underneath all those battling frequencies

Cheers
- Jahala.

good melody here, its not as uplifting as others or catchy but excellent production. You are improving all the time some good perc's there.

Posted by Icone on Jan-05-2005 00:46:

Sounds just a tad darker, but I like it! One of your best so far I think, the rest was feeling a bit of the same lately (not that they were bad melody-wise of course).

The kick was pretty much ok for the track as it is, feels kinda punchy though, perhaps some overcompression on the whole tune? I think some of the effects are a bit on the harsher side as well, dunno if it was meant to be

Cheers,
Wim

Nice elements in here, I like the pitched tone in the climaxes. Bass and kick are good too. It misses clarity though in the highs. Sounds need to be more defined, so you can identify better each sound you use.

Keep up m8, doing well

In my oppinion it sounds too muddy.
Sometimes there seems to be much noise.
The melody sounds good but needs to be more in front i think.

Posted by NoisyNeil on Jan-05-2005 17:32:

awesome soundin' sample
like the style, on the one side it sounds fast and powerfull but it also has a kinda chill side too it i like it!

ps. maybe the bassline could be less overdone, it is kinda loud if you compare it with the melody and the pads

Posted by dannyc on Jan-05-2005 21:00:

yes this is darker from you sunquest and more what i'd be into.

good work

I agree, i don't like the name at all. The track is great though, agree with everything that has been said so far.

Just please think of a different name.

Definately like the darker sound much more... The producing is top notch, but like everyone said.. the sound quality seems to be suffering a bit... couldn't you at least post 196 kbs??

the swooshes bring a nice touch to this track... helps keep the dark atmosphere and keeps things moving well. definately like the atmosphere and the somewhat dark/uplifting type of sound.. one of my favourite of your works..

Ron! my man , been a while huh? How come you didnt tell me you got signed! , congrats!

Anyway, this one sounds good alright. not so keen about the kick, its abit too hammersih for my liking. other than that, the "mysterious" melody is great .

Peace mate,
Tedaber iti!

Antonio.

This track like 90% of your others is an anthem, and I love it!

I didnt hear the 96 k version, but production wise the only thing that sticks out is the fact that there are quite a few frequencey problems, listening from here, rather than a low end problem it seems the higher areas need addressing.

Melody wise I love it, and again all the swirling noises and fx are awesome, how do you achive these? Samples or synths?

My favorite bit by far is that sorta is the final sample that fades in at 2.00 mins, with that extra synth on top its f*cking wicked!

9/10 mate
