what do you imagine when you're listening trance ???

Hi men !
I'm curious to know it ! lol ;-)
Personally, trance is very powerfull on my spirit. When I heard a tune with an ENORMOUS emotion I have a lot of shudders !!!!! I imagine a lot of things ! I see nice girls, oceans, islands, peace... No doubt men : TRANCE IS MAGIC !!! Here is the melodies who's got effects on me (shudders, dreams...)

wnenever i hear an awesome song i like to let the music take me a a place where im free of any inabitions(sp?) or reservations that i have. it just puts a smile on my face, a beat in my head, and makes me move my feet.

when i listen to trance I like to imagine i'm running around naked on the beach rubbing myself with baby oil.

o my goodness! i guess you really have a thing for trance

The riffs & strings remind me of colours...exciting colours that light up in a very dark mystic atmosphere.

if the song has a special meaning to me, I'm just remembering thast ocassion...
if it has an awesome title/lyrics, I'll follow them

if not... I let my mind free, a little curious myself of where it will take me... a journey of peace, ecstasy, joy... love...

I think of SEX.

trance calms me more then makes me feeling like im' "running on the beach naked...baby oil"

it lowers my stress and brain power. i also think about erotic activities when i listen to it. i can concentrate on homework and studying better.

it might sound cheezy but when i hear that part in a song that gives me the chills i just picture myself dancing and bustin some phat moves. nothin in the world makes me feel better than cuttin loose to some serious trance.

I feel like a music video when I'm walking outside and listening to trance on my headset.

Those uplifting melodies I find very hard to visualize, their expressions are too beautiful to be translated to anything else. They make me think, think that life is beatiful.

WOW there are so many emotions that go along with trance....here are a couple I think about when I listen to trance.
*Any good song with a beat I notice cars, signs, lights whatever going to the beat.....
*souvenir de chine or urban train I think of watching the sun rise while I watched Ti�sto spin @ Nocturnal Wonderland this summer.
*Takes away all stress I'm having
*The best one is when I'm sick of living in the $#!t @$$ town It makes me feel alot better....

Trance can bring you through different emotions, eg I think stuff like Rank 1's Deep Dubs make you feel energetic and like dancing, although I don't really like listening to Deep Dubs by Rank 1, too progressive. I think stuff like GOURYELLA makes you feel happy and energetic yet calm in the same moment, I prefer stuff like this. And this next comment was made by someone else in a similar thread, I can't remember who but I totally agree, it goes something a bit like this, "Paul Van Dyk - Vega (Starcase Remix) makes me think of space and looking at the stars."
I think you can really feel emotions come to life in trance, this is one of many reasons I find DJing TrancE so satisfying.

I have a theorie and I hope someone will understand what I mean here:

To me music is something that goes directly into your brain without the need of association to anything (which differs it to words. I say "chair" and your brain first has to find something it can associate with "chair".) but it triggers a series of emotions. The colours and images you see are a visual translation of these emotions. You can never describe emotions like love, hate, sadness with words (you can only describe the event or use an analogy like: "You`re the light of my life", but you can never use words to really describe it). To me Trance music is the language of love, peace and happiness because these are the emotions that I have when listening to this music and the images I see when I close my eyes are the visual output (just like in normal life words are the hearable output and script is the visual output) of these emotions. Music is the voice of emotions.

I totally understand what you say Sir. Lunchalot, but I think some songs speak to you and trigger off certain emotions and memories, whether good or bad, that make you feel like you interact with the music thinking what you hear is real and happening at that moment, that euphoric moment, where you lose your mind in the music.
At the end of the day, why have drugs when you can have trance.

for me trance is like a blood line without it i cant live,..

when i listen to trance and has the perfect beat: i imagen having sex with carmen electra. simple as that. great feeling

I imagine myself dancing with my eyes closed letting the sounds wash over me, with hundreds of other people who are absorbed in the music just as much as I am.

I agree here, last year I purchased MOS Trance Nation 4...and a few days later I had an operation. While the morphine was still in effect I was listening to Trance Nation 4. Everytime I listen to trance nation 4 it reminds me of being sleepy in bed in hospital, and sadly blood in my mouth.

That's harsh. Very harsh. Just listen to it another time when somid good it happening to get rid of that memory, I prefer CD2 anyway, less commercial but until Lost In Motion the other tracks are fairly crap, except Silence Tiesto Mix.

Yahel - Devotion(Armin mix) has got to be one of the more emotional tunes for me, I heard it right after I met the love of my life, turned me into a real mushy bastard


BT - Orbitus Teranium (yes I know it isn't trance): it really feels like a liftoff of some sort, and when it peaks at 5:40 I think of an astronaut breakdancing during a spacewalk. really cool.

some tracks make me think of the good times, and makes me go off and daydream...i used to daydream a lot before, but now only with trance

here 2. in fact, it's one of the main reasons, one of the best feelings. my gf told me the other day she has got to the same point, where trance is the portal to happiness, to forget and forgive the cruel world, and live in a little dream.

a dream yet so powerfull, it changes what we are...

I think about all the ppl that dont listen to trance and how much they are missing out....trance is a music for mind body and soul...like yoga aiight :P anyway what else....mmm.....i think about actually paying huge uplifting tracks infront of hundreds of ppl and imagine then jumping all around and the strobe lights shimmering like crazy along with the lasers and the smoke.....thats about it really :P
