i put chicken, but the best kind of ramen is my latest invention...Awesome Ramen
only takes like 3 more minutes and is just as college-kid friendly as ramen is in the first place (if you cook it in a pot...this may be difficult in a microwave or just w/ hot water)
so fix the ramen normally, and put the ramen in a strainer
(i usually leave a buncha water, but for this you want them either very dry or still wet, and you need the pot so you can add water after if you want it soupy)
next, sautee some onions and peppers in the pan, with some seasoning if you wish (i'm a garlic fiend)
after they're nice and cooked and browned, mix the ramen back in, and add the seasoning packet(s)
stir well, and add more hot water if you want
mmmmmm

well, if you don't add that packet and eat it raw its like 1/5 the calories. all those calories are in the seasoning packet! (mostly salt)

anyhoo, beef is the best!! ramen helped me survive through those hard times in college when i spent all my money on alcohol. i wouldn't be here today if it weren't for the 5 for 99c wonder that is known as "oodles of noodles"
