Ghosts

Do you believe in them?
Have you ever encountered any ghostly presences?

I did some research into the new film coming out called "White Noise" and i found out that "EVP - Electronic Voice Phonomena" isnt a load of hollywood bull. Its a true occurance. This is where you leave a tape recorder (dictaphone) recording in a quiet room and you will hear voices when you play in back...quite freaky.

I have had a couple of freaky experiences involving poltergeists.
When i was 10 i had a can of my dads deoderant. i went into the bathroom then walkedd back to my room. When i got in the room it was floating in mid air for a few seconds, then suddenly dropped to the floor.
Another was when i was with a family friend, we stayed the night and got woken up in the morning by a loud noise. one of the picture frames had fallen off the wall onto the floor. But the picture was now on the floor with the image facing the wall (if that maakes sense) and no one had moved it.

Gezz i walked away & came back & now I don't even know what this thread is about. I think it was aliens. Martians are bad because their 3 legged dogs poops green goo on your front yard. ...& If that Martian family comes over to one of my BBQs with another 'red weed' salad I am gonna be majorly peeved!!

oh shezzz, I remember now; 'ghosts'. Nope, dont beleive in them.

Never experienced anything ghostly, but it's possible there might some of those buggers out there bothering young dj's so they can't sleep for 3 days...

aww hmm i dont know if i had any personal experiences... if anything i always try to find a logical excuse for it and try to forget about it
my mom has encountered some weird stuff in our house... one time she woke up in the middle of the night and walked out of her bedroom to see someone standing in the hallway. she started calling after them but they just kept walking away from her... and then they disappeared... my mom was pretty freaked out the next day cuz she knew it was none of my bro's friends or my brother.. it wasnt me or my dad... so who else could it have been? especially when she was calling after them and they just kept slowly walking away from her (with their back to my mom)

crazy stuff
dunno if i believe it... but id like to.

yeah i've seen tv shows about EVP before on like discovery channel and shit...i don't know how convinced i was by them, but i knew when seeing the commercials for the new movie what they were talking about.

and i get what you mean about the picture frame...that's pretty wierd...both of those things...

i dunno what i believe when it comes to this stuff. i can remember being in a few places that were supposedly haunted even as a young adult and just being completely uncomfortable as hell...the whole idea makes me nervous...i have a lot of scary memories from childhood that really creep me out so i try not to think about stuff like this hehehe.

and goodgreef...if i was your mom and i saw that shit i would fucking jump out the fucking window or something...that'd freak the hell out of me...

Dun Dun DERN!!!!

I woke up once to screaming children under my bed. The screams where backwards, like in reverse. I was freaked out & thought I was hearing ghosts. They roared around the room, dashing from one side of the room to the other for 2 minutes until I relealized it was a cat fight underneath the house. Freaken CATS under the floor boards!!! "STFU!!!!" Damn they make an aweful noise when they are fighting!

I was recording a cd, a while ago, and Iio's "Rapture" was playing(Creamer and stephane K mix). My turntable was plugged into a power strip on the floor. Somehow the power cord came out of the plug, without me touching it. The record started to slow down during the "la la la la la la la" part and I saw what had happened. I plugged it back in and hit the start button. It was perfectly on phrase and kicked right back in, perfectly. Of course my computer was out of disk space and a one-in-a-million occurence is not documented. I still don't know how it came out and a few weeks later I came home and my bible was open. I never leave it open, so it seemed weird.

I try to dispell these things, but you never know.

I believe in Tenth Planet "Ghosts", btw.

That Urban legend thing was weird...especially being home alone in a quiet house...hmmmm
I've been driving alone through country roads at night and could see weird things like shadows of humans and odd lights and stuff like that... i just put my foot down, seriously i was up to 70mph and didnt break for most corners, had the feeling i was been followed/chased.....horrible feeling

Tenth Planet "Ghosts" is a trance record.

I used to run from my neighbors' houses to my house as a child in Connecticut. I always felt like I was being chased.

back in middle school, my friend and i were playing Ouija board (cliche, i know). we had some candles lit around the board, and we were trying to contact her older cousin who had died a few weeks earlier. after a while we gave up and went downstairs for a snack. i made sure to blow out ALL the candles before leaving my bedroom (my mom was a freak about fire prevention and safety), but when we came back, the one big candle right in the middle was lit. we blew it out and sort of kicked it over 'cause we got so freaked out (stupid move because the wax was stuck in my carpet for years after that). my friend picked it up and noticed that her cousins initials were carved into the bottom of the candle.

hahaha, we didn't speak for like a week after that because all we could do was fight about who possibly snuck away to light the candle and carve his initials. there was no one else in the house at the time, and we were never out of the others site, so there was no possible way either one of us did it.

I had some freaky things happen to me, quiet often it gets cold in well insulated parts of the house.Quiet a few times ive had voices in my room ask me questions i kid you not. And ive replied and just gone to sleep. I always was quiet skeptical but i know it couldnt of been anyone pissing around because it was 3-4 in the morning and the sound was localised in my room and it was pretty close.

Needless to say it freaked me out a bit, but the second time it happened, it made me feel quiet calm and relaxed. I really dont care if people dont buy into it, as im not trying to prove anything, simply tell my story lol

i've seen and heard some things. a while back where i work we have a storage area thats upstairs and at the bottom of the stairs is where the time card machine is at. so i'm walking by and i see a persons shadow upstairs. this is closing time too so no one was there. i just kept walking and left.

another time, i was closing up myself and i went to shut a light off next to the walk in fridge which is across from the staircase. well that day one guy turned off the lights upstairs before he left. while i turned to leave out of the corner of my eye i see what looks like someone standing there wearing white, but the thing is i could only see the legs. now this one i'm not to sure about, it coulda been that there was actually a light on upstairs towards the back of the room which was playing a trick on me.

another time, once again it's closing time. everyone just got they're paycheck and started to punch out. all the lights are shut off in the upstairs storage room. out of nowhere we hear someone banging on metal from upstairs.

i just remembered this one. i was loading the van outside for a delivery. my dad comes outside and asks me where the lady went. i told him no one went in or out while i was loading the van. turns out he say a lady walk by the window to the office. well where did this lady go if i was outside and no one had walked in or out of the business.
