Weird Triangle

WTF??

to me, it looks like the area of the two big triangles are different.

the nerdz in COR will have their say.
That's why i hate math and geometry and shit
whoever solves it gets a bounus

The angle of the 1st triangle is steeper
Use reference points on bot triangles on the sloping edge.
On the first triangle look on the go 2 lines down from the top, you'll see the triangle goes exactly over the square on the paper.
On the second triangle you'll see that it misses it by about 1/4 of a square.

dimensions are different between the two triangles , optical illusion

I saw it before and it has been proven, print it on paper and measure it with a ruler you'll see

The explanation is very simple actually: this happens because neither of the two whole triangles are perfect triangles.

Just look at the larger side of each whole triangle, the first one has a concave hypotenuse and the second a convex one.

This happens because the rates of the two sub-triangles (red and dark-green) are slightly different, but only for the eye: 8/3 =! 5/2

What i said but in more COR friendly terms...in other words, one triangles more bendy than the other.

I just super imposed it on the other one in photochop and they arent the same size
