My strange holiday pictures!!!!

Okay as you should know a couple of weeks back I was on holiday in Staffordshire to visit Alton Towers! I posted that "Hello" thread on a computer with Internet Access in the Pub in the grounds where I was staying when I was drunk! About 5 minutes along the road there was a strange yard with lots of old cars rotting away. The place was so strange we decided to take some pictures of it so here it is!

See if you can recognise what any of the cars are!

Here's me standing on top of one of the old cars (an Austin Montego)! That's the first time I've ever shown myself on the internet lol!

Here's some pictures of the old cars:

And when I got home we still had some pictures on the camera so here's a picture of me standing beside the roadsign in my home village Ecclefechan!

There are some more normal holiday pics I'll post later but that's it for just now!

Shit these pictures aren't appearing for me. Are they appearing for anyone? I uploaded them to tripod. Anyone got any idea why they're not working?

Cool, they proabably aren't appearing for me because of my shitty connection! One of the cars is a very strange home made wooden Estate car. Tax disc date on it was January 92!

Tripod doesn't allow to see pictures unless they are a part of a website
In other words, u can see them only if u type the URL of a webpage they are included in (u can't link pictures themselves)

So, your pics can't be seen dude...

Citroen 2Cv is the one on top of the pile
the other red one with the Y showing on the numberplate could be a renault 4 or a talbot sunbeam / horizon

oh and the yellow one from page 1 is a typical london black cab lol
but in yellow he he he

Yep, Citroen 2CV it indeed is! There were 2 of them actually, if you look to the right of the yellow London Cab there's another!

The red one with the Y plate is actually a Ford Escort. Hard to tell since the front grill was lying on the ground!

Also in the yard there was a Fiat Panda (A reg) and I tried to open the rear tailgate and the thing was so rusty the whole bottom half of the tailgate came off in my hands and the rear window came down nearly on top of me! The yard had the biggest amount of junk I've ever seen!

The latest Tax disc date on any of the vehicles was October 96 on the yellow London Taxi!

u can tell thats it's a Mark 3 Ford Escort by the shape of it's lights lol
Y reg being the 2nd year of the mark 3 escorts, also the first year the Mk3 XR3i's came out
the year before they had the XR3 and the RS1600i
a rare beast now is an original RS1600i
