Nominatie meest kanloze thread 2005!
(maar met een droevig verhaal)

this is a serious question.

i have a very close friend who is dual nationalty dutch and english and who is missing in Thailand. I have seen a Dutch female with the name of Jennifer listed in the dead and was just intrigued. I know it sounds stupid

Posted by Phat B on Jan-06-2005 21:51:

What a concidence, I was just asking me the same thing like 5 minutes ago.

ok, seriously. the chance that this was the same woman is very small. In Holland there over 16 million people, ya think we would know how many of them are called Jennifer? Big chance there were more than one Dutch Jennifers in Asia at the time...

good luck searching!

and Bartez i couldnt give a flying fuck whether you cant see the name on the list, as i said many Western names have been written in Thai and even given Thai nationality on the website, and im guessing you cant read thai.

Take it easy will ya. Ask the questions normal & you get a normal answer!

Not just "uuh, Jennifer, is that... name?"

Explain why you ask and then you get normal feetback.

yeah i know what you were saying its just i watched a tv programme with a thai bloke going through the names that have been written in thai with nationality thai and within looking at four people which most people would assume are thai people but in fact are westerners. And the one he gave as an example was jennifer from holland.

Now ive found its certainly not an unusual name im a little bit happy. fingers crossed

apologies for swearing just a bit infuriating when i kept getting the same response from Barthez. Ah well.

Maybe could have worded it better, only wanted to know whether Jennifer is at all a common name in the Netherlands.

I also didnt really wanted to go into the fall details but it wasnt my intention to offend anyone.

Do you have more information about this Jennifer? Things like living place, surname etc. Probably one of our members know this person because she's living in the neighbourhood or something.
