Lightbulb Question about system soundbar

Is it true that they got a new sound system setup in the main room?

I think it is about time, ffs they got the one of the worst sound systems in the city so a change is definitly needed.

p.s I still hate that shithole but if they do get a good setup I might passby one day

yeah they got an Alpha Dynacord system installed in the mainroom .. altho with the dimensions of the room i dunno how effective it'll be. nonetheless from what i hear it's still a big step up from what they had before so anything's better than that ..

i know i know. I getchya - but it's not like it was the most TERRIBLE system in the world. I have definitly heard worse systems, but yes - hence the clubs name they shoudl have the BEST OF THE BEST system in town! and now they do - we will for sure hear the quality now!

Now all we need is to bring in some HOT (single) DJ's, did I say HOT!

LOVEs it~!

The Sound System is great for SANDER K @ NYE ... but, what counts the most is JUNGLE/DnB! If a sound system push that genre perfectly, then out genre will be easy.

Now if they can only do anything with the decor..I liked the OLD System decor & the couches

definitly down with more couches - hell I get tired dancin' and it woul dbe nice to have more room to chillax.

and to smooch on - hee heheehhe ^ ^ just kiddin'

but yeah - they probably don't have the couches there anymore, b/c so many space cadets would sit in them and be stoned. (u knwo what i mean) and they probably wanted to reduce that. and i do notcice that there are a lot less sketchy people there. well at least the times tha i have gone there! I think system has always been my favorite club! I love it there and the people know me and the service is always wonderful!

have a good one and spin spin sugar!

That's why ignore all the hate towards Guv & System. There will always be haters out there. Also, I don't bash any other clubb in the city, why bother? It's so childish and pointless.

"Fuck your clubb, my clubb is better and we got this and that!"

Over hyping a clubb is the worest type of promotions, give the ppl the turth and when they come they will enjoy it. You over hype it, once they step through the door, they realize "And you say you this place is the shit?" It's major let down.

It's all about enjoying yourself and enjoying what our city has to offer. By bashing a clubb, your just taking for granted what Toronto is the leader of North American EDM. (Why do so many US party-goers travel for so many miles just to party in our city?)

You can think about what I just said or ignore it, but that's the turth.

Get out there and just enjoy it! Stop bashing and bitching what we might loose one day. (Example : Massive Raves @ Convention Centre w/19,000 ppl)

When the man's right -- he's right.

Way too many people up in here just jump ship cause it's the 'cool' thing to do. Every club's got negative aspects, people need to chill out and realize that along with the positive, you gotta embrace some of the negative aspects as well.

I predict as soon as Republik opens, you're gonna get a lot of people saying that clubs the shit -- and the cycle of bashing will begin again.

Fuck the haters --- this here is about Toronto clubbing - and why TO rocks north america when it comes to cities to party in.,

Complaints about establishments in general will always exist, and shouldnt be ignored. There was an obvious complaint lingering about System's sound for sometime now, and the issue has been resolved. Should people keep their complaints to themselves in fear that if they DO say something it will hurt the scene?? I dont think so. Sounds to me that System has taken the right steps in trying to please their clientele, as it was mostly the clubs regulars who brought the complaint to the surface. I know i have a biased outlook as i promote for a club in the city as well, but i expect and encourage people to be picky about the club i work for so we can take the necessary steps to improving it in anyway.

But i do agree with one of the statements made above. The TO scene has a diversity that is tough to match, and i do believe that every club we have serves its purpose and tends to specific needs of people in the scene. Club owners realise that the level of quality amongst our clubs in the city these days are higher than ever, and its pushing everyone to stay up to par, and overall improving the clubbing experience across the city.

Very well said Jeff.

If no one had bitched about the sound at system, would they have replaced it? I doubt it.

nicely said !

if you dont like some clubs DO NOT GO THERE, and that's the end of it.

"sound is terrible", "too many sketchbags", "it was overpacked" <-- so what????

say it once, dont make it a weekly repport.

just for the record, lots of people have been really asses about system lately, "sound is terrible" can be seen a lot and yet all those people can be seen on roll calls like " IM SOOOOO THERE" or "omg i die, cant wait" and then post shit on reviews, day after a party and i dont know what to think about those people. if the sound is that bad, how come they all keep coming back for more week after week after week???

get your shit straight, love it or hate it, dont fuckin bitch about it every 3-4 days.

in my books, system is tha shiznit, i do not hate guv or boa or whatever, but in the past 2+ years of partying i have yet to have a bad night @ system, even when dj sucks ass there is always something fun to do there. i'll rather go there than anywhere else

e2ek1el, keep up the good work and hook us up with more dj mute
