meanwhile most of us, even me, someone who isn't a fan, will probably just go buy tickets the night before and be able to get in on opening night.

If he camps out for 22 weeks to see the movie there's more of a chance of something happening to him that would prevent him from seeing it (sickness, getting arrested for something, mugged).
