Miami area Jan 24-25th ?

Any shows/parties/clubs to go to in the Miami area that Monday night ? There usually seems to be something going on at Miami Lounge with Edgar V. That would be cool.
We'll be flying into Fort Lauderdale after catching Markus at Glow in DC so we just were hoping to maximize while in the Miami area.

Your assumption is correct. Edgar will be @ MIA Lounge on Monday, the 24th.

As for other events, there aren't any that I know of at this time.

Thanks Dark Angel. Edgar V is great. Good enough for me for our Monday night plan. Never been to Miami Lounge, but apparently food is served is well. So is it good for dinner ? Any recommendations ? Also, what time does the music/party usually start ? Just trying to figure out our timing.

If you're under 21, best time to be at MIA is 9-9:15 P.M.

People at the door card and start charging around 9:30 to 10.

MIA is an Italian Restaurant, but it's DAMN good.

May I recommend the Baked Ziti or the Calzone.

Oh, and if you're bringing any 21+ girls with you, girls eat/drink FREE at MIA.

Parking, FYI, is in the middle of the Young Circle. You have to pay a 'Master Meter', but only till midnight, so $2-3 bucks should be enough.

if you like sushi you can eat at the sushi room which is attached to mias... i went last week and i am a sushi freak so it was very good.. also mias is italian so if you dont like the fish im sure you will like italian...

A real big thanks for the all the info. We are certainly over 21. It's my fiancee (still weird saying that) I'll be with. We are actually heading to Miami to tidy up some of our wedding preparations which will be in Miami during WMC. Hope to meet/see some of ya'll that night. Where's Miriam ? I'll have to ask her to meet us there that night.

We like good food period, wether it's Italian, sushi, or whatever. Really looking forward to it. We always wanted to make it to Miami Lounge, especially after dying to be there when Markus had his CD realease party. Probably do the Italian this time around.

Miriam (Poyson Ivy) now, that I can't tell you....

Oh yeah, there is ONE more event going down the 25th, which would be Tuesday.

Our very own DJ Groove Eric should be at Blue in South Beach, on Hispa�ola Way, across the street from Crobar. Never a cover there, a small but very nice atmosphere and you're guaranteed a good time.

I'm resurrecting my own post. The weekend is fast approaching and I don't have the directions/address to Miami Lounge. I realize it's in Hollywood, but that's all I know. I tried googling it, but not much worthwhile came up. There's actually a miami lounge in NYC. Anyway, any help would be appreciated. So I guess we'll be freezing in DC this weekend and then warm up a bit in Miami.
