Ridge Racer Revolution on PS1 had one brilliant track with vocals in it.

yah, Wipeout was mentioned alot in the original thread...

i remember seeing the advertisments for Red Bull go flying by in the first one, this was before it came to the US i beleive...

i still havent found a faster racing game than the Wipeout series, if anyone has, id like to know...

this game was so fast it makes your eyes hurt, and to win at all @ this game, your reaction time has to aproach perfection.

I bought that one at K-mart for like 15$ like years ago. I didnt listen to trance at the time and when i found out that PVD was on it i went back to try and play it and it was all messed up. Anyone know if they might make another one?

I know they made a Wipeout FUSION for PS2 but I never got the chance to try it, and I don't know if there's any trance/EDM on it.

How was your game all 'messed up'? Mine still works fine...

Younger brother got a hold of it and scratched it all to pieces. He did that a lot with my games. And my PS2 is to messed up to play it.

Aw man, that suckx.

You might try Game Stop or Electronics Boutique for decent used copies of the game.

wipeout 1 doesnt have any trance in it. its mostly techno with some breakbeat tracks in it. most of the techno is from cold storage who hmmmm seems to like his 303 and 909s the stuff by orbital and leftfied etc is all breakbeat!

that was wipeout 2097! only the ps version had it too. the PC version had all tracks by cold storage so no firestarter. the first wipeout on PC had no licensed tunes either. bummer. i mean cold storage is good but hes just not in the same production school as howlett and all the other licensed artists on the PS versions.

i never played past 2097. i think designer republic didnt do the graphic design post 2097? it looked really different. for the worse imho. didnt realise they had trance in wipeout 3. im curious now
