Oakey aint "so last week" as they say. I'd say that this set was one of his best (i've heard anyway) Except for the one in Austin. [Still need track listin's for that one] Or? Wich set is best?

Ok ppl, this is posted in Alt.binaries.sounds.mp3.dance by xlr8shun posted yesterday afternoon (so it'll only be up maybe 2 more days?). It comes packed in .rar files, so you'll need WinRar.

For those who don't know how to d/l from newsgroups, here's the FAQ:

http://www.mp3-faq.org/faq5.html

There's also one up there from King Unique (7-14-2000). This NG usually has all the latest Essential mixes, and poster 'eezergoode' has been posting a ton of the older ones for the past 2 months. Another good spot to hunt down your EM's

Well I'm dl it now, so I haven't heard it yet. Here's a tracklisting I found @ www.tracklistings.org if anyone's interested.

1. Cass & Slide - Glad I ate her
2. Paris & Sharpe - Aphrodite
3. Iio - Rapture (Creamer and K mix)
4. New Order "Someone Like You" (Futureshock Mix)
5. ??? (Big Base Beat. Sounds similar to amoeba assassin. Guy sayin "You keep on walkin?")
6. X-Press 2 "Smoke Machine" (Original mix)
7.??? (Has a breakdown to it. No vocals. Progressive. Riff similar to X-Press 2's "Muzikizum" to it.)
8. Warrior "Voodoo" (Oliver Lieb Main Mix)
9. Li Kwan "Point Zero"
10. ??? BUT WHAT A TUNE!!!. I'd take a guess and say possibly Steve gibbs "Tokyo." or Fu Man Choo - Outlaw (Praha Remix)
11. Amoeba Assassin "Piledriver" (I think its the progressive mix, rather tha the Grayed Out
12. Van Bellen '20/20 [saints + sinners remix]
13. Insigma "Open Your Eyes" (Mix??)
14. Insigma "Open Your Eyes (Instrumental Mix) [not a typo; he did play Insigma back to back]
15. PPK "ResuRection" (Perfecto Edit)
16. CJ Bolland "The Prophet" (Original Mix)
17. Flash "The Day After"
18. ???? Dunno but Flash was originally playing at the same speed as CJ Bolland. He slowed down Flash a HELL OF A LOT to mix this 1 in just b4 the broadcast cuts off. just heard that pvd mixed out of "flash"

The rapture he played was the one everyone thinks is the deep dish mix, but turns out it is really the creamer & k mix.

No, PvD started afresh. After Oakie finished Iio got on stage and sang Rapture, then PvD started.
