Should I?

Sell my DJX700 when I get $150 & then buy a djm 707?

DJX 700 Pros:
5 Chans
-32db EQ's
Kill switches

DJM 707 Pros:
Better Faders
Sharper More Precise Faders & EQ
Transform
XLR Outputs
$300 with no tax discount at guitar center

Get rid of that lousy knock off and get yourself a decent mixer! 707 is not bad at all!

Get rid of the mixer before it dies and you can't sell it.

get the 707. You'll be surprised how much better it will sound and perform. also, the -32db on the behringer doesn't perform as nearly as well as the -26 cut on the pioneer.

Well...I need at least 3 channels for my stuff + the computer and I don't want the 275

Are there any like 1 rca to 2 rca splitters

Posted by abnorm on Jan-09-2005 08:39:

I think you can use the Session Line In on the DJM-707 for a computer. I am not sure about this, can anyone confirm?

get rid of that toy and get a real big-boy mixer
*nothing towards those who own the djx700*
if you can afford to upgrade, go for it

yes, but thats pointless because you wont be able to use things separately. plus, the djm707 m(and for that matter, any othe rmixer) has more than 1 input on each channel. the 707 has:

2 channels : 4 line inputs, 2 phono inputs, 2 switchable phono/line inputs.

if you want a 3 channel mixer why are you looking at the 707? its a scratch mixer.

So True.

You can use the session input to hook up your computer. You can mix just fine on a battle mixer so I say go for it. Any 3+ channel mixer with a nice crossfader for scratching is going to be alot more than $300.

your only dilema will be channel issues. you won't find a scratch mixer with 3 channels.. but if you arn't worried about having more than 2 tracks in at once then it won't be a problem.

If he has the cash he could get a Rane Empath or an Ecler Nuo-5. You can scratch on both of them they're not battle mixers but the crossfaders are nice.

Posted by Exodus17 on Jan-10-2005 18:52:

do it

Get rid of you DJX700! I had one and mine went ape sh*t on me. Two channels burnt out and it was extremely noisy on the channels that did work. I upgraded to a djm600 and haven't looked back. I got my djm brand new for 699$. The only feature I miss are eq kills.

dude, just hook everything up, and use your line/phono switches. i've spun with 2 cd decks and 2 turntables on a 2 channel mixer. not a problem, as long as you don't plan on having 3 or more tracks mixed together at the same time.
