it was a nice set!!! happy to be able to hear a nite with just mark again. was hoping to hear more trance, but regardless, some great tunes!!!

Music Lovers of Toronto gathered under one roof on Saturday night to hear the SOLE RESIDENT of The GUVERNMENT D.J Mark Oliver Spin his phenomenal 9hr set once more...

I'm still in a State of "SHOCK AND AWE" and can't really come up with the proper words as to how AWESOME yet POWERFUL and FLAWLESS this night was.

Cutting Edge and Forward thinking MUSIC....That is how MARK Spins For the crowd of thousands and his closest friends on the GUV dance Floor....

Highlights worthy of mention....Oliver pauses the music and asks the Clubbers for a moment of silence in remmemberance of the Tsunami victims....And then restarts the music with the newest remix of the timeless classic "Silence" by Sarah Mc Laughlin.

Another personal Highlight of mine....I got to Touch the Olympus C-8080!LOL! Thanks Nat! YOU ROCK!

i am beyond jealous of you guys!! i couldn't fall asleep this morning until about six or seven, and around then at some point i was thinking of if the music had ended yet at the guv, just then i saw a flash outside my window, im thinking it was a sign that took me a little closer to the guv

definately, i love entering the drink to get my dosage of sweet house from manzone & strong and then awesome prog, techno and trance from MO...makes for a great nite every time!!!...the seating area is so comfy in the drink lounge to when you need a seating break!!!

when we were at the door, they're like? who's john tang? but then the one girl knew. i am so used to you doing the main door that i didn't know you could do the drink entrance too!

WOW What a night! Mark killed it and played some really hard stuff and kept playing harder as the night went along without any signs of fatigue or slowing down I wasn't expecting GUV to be that busy but it was pretty damn full and busy but with breathing room and room to dance which was good Atmosphere was electric and the vibe awesome as usual and the sound system was sounding even better than usual. Big ups to the Asians

LOL u guys are mad spoiled and don't even know it!! lol i just wish you could all come and see where i live for just one weekend!! haha but i must admit, i could be MUCH worse, both nyc and phila are about 2 hours... and of course t.o. is only about 7

had a blast...Mark killed it yet again...some solid hard house to start the proceedings, Techno was introduced around 1.45 am and then came trance....all genres/tracks were flawlessly mixed and kept us moving till the very end...

i have said it a million times...over here people complain about cover(5-20 bucks) and drinks being so expensive...people i know from parts of the US have told me that on a regular night the cover is 40 bucks on average...

we get tons of headliners...every weekend, and still theres no scene?

anyone who complains about TO electronic and clubbing scene should be choked

Agreed, other cities envy Toronto big time for our scene and just in general and us Torontonians fail to realize this sometimes. It's like people already know we rule North America subconsciously and thats why we just compare ourselves to Europe all the time seeing how there is no competition here in North America

People say oh we have no trance in Toronto yet the biggest and most successful club around is THE GUVERNMENT and it has been this way for 8+ years and we have Mark Oliver every week who is as good as any international DJ out there
