Was inspired so I wrote this track today. Simple and beautiful, hope you enjoy.

sounds good. love the strings and the piano. All around i love you tracks, especially scarlet oak. Just wish you could have made this one a little bit longer but it's damn good for being made in a day.

Beautiful stuff man. Great melody, great sounds. I love the deep bassy saw pad. Definitely like the chimes when it kicks in.

I guess the only thing I can gripe about is the long kick roll. I think I'm just getting sick of rolls in general tho.

Keep it up kid.

This is excellent stuff man! Sounds a bit like 'Radiance' but that was mint too:up: Get this finished

Chris

anyways, nice track, glad you filled those strings out, now this sounds a lot fuller and thicker. can't wait for that rework of "sapphire (storm)"

Thanks a lot guys, really appreciate the feedback. Will stick this one on my demo, let's hope for the best.

TranceFantasy2k: The song itself is 8:54, this is just a sample

Anybody else? Where is everybody...

great quality.. good atmosphere.. nothing really to point the finger on.. u will probably get this released if u finish it good work

Posted by DJ-Kreing^^ on Jan-11-2005 18:37:

Nice work man!
The sound quality is really good, sounds really professional. Love your synth work melody is quite nice, nice chord progression.
The break has a nice dreamy feel to it, love the pianos

1:02 its just sound wrong here, seems like the way you arranged the notes of the lead synth which kicks in at that point doesnt go well with the piano notes. I dont know maybe its just me, but check it out.

Over all, this is a great solid production, well done.

Posted by eulerfx on Jan-11-2005 18:48:

- use different synth for strings, make them fuller and more realistic, or more Airwave sounding.
- pianos are very nice, but make them louder and fuller as well
- good atmosphere in the song, don't see this kind of feel much these days
- clean up the hats, they seem too muddy]
- add more snare

Posted by State of Matter on Jan-11-2005 19:04:

Thanks guys.

DJ-Kreing: Thanks, glad you liked it. About the main melody, I hadn't noticed anything so I probably won't change it. There isn't really a lead, more like a symphony of synths working together for an atmosphere. I appreciate the feedback though.

eulerfx: Yeah, I agree with most of what you said. I added more snare to the kick roll to make it a little smoother. Cleaned up some muddiness as well. I don't want the strings to sound realistic per se but I agree they could sound fuller so I'll work on that as well.

Keep em coming.

I love the style of this track . Your production and everything else is on point! I would like to hear more

Posted by Massive84 on Jan-13-2005 11:41:

your style is really good SoM

Like most of your tracks, screaming strings and pads, love that.

Piano sounds really lush.

Hoped for some extra melody hehe, and the sample is to short to judge it good.

Good luck and wish i had your composing skills

Man. this is fucking sweet. Love everything about this one! I'd like to hear more!

Really good work!

very well produced, i love it, top marks man.

really nice as always mate Good Production values and a very nice melody. The ambience in the breakdown is really nice and would work very well in a club environment. my own vague criticisms would be that the kick is a little "lazy", i mean it kinda plods along instead of kicking if that makes any sense and the percussion is a little quiet too. But other than that its some great work

Posted by activa on Jan-13-2005 19:46:

I really like this track, the melody is fantastic, really nice and dreamy.
I think my only criticism is that when its building up after the break the kickroll seems to take away some impact if the 4/4 kicks coming back in.
Maybe if the kickroll is slighly quieter as it builds then have the 4/4 kick a bit louder it might give it that punch that it seems to lack at that point.

Other than that a quality tune.

Awesome production mate - love the pads especially!!

Any chance of a full length for the show and out and about?

Keep em coming!

I really like this track good work!

Au contraire to what some people suggest, I think the pianos are at the right volume. Tease the listener with it, and keep it subtle. The kick sounds a little high-pitched for my liking, though. Prefer it a bit meatier, but that's preference.

Great work!
