Posted by PulseFusion on Jan-12-2005 06:26:

haha, yeah i thought that was a bit strange... mal promoting a system 6 rave!

haha, not really my thing but i may end up going not really a fan of st pauls though...

i've been in a clubbing/raving drought now though so i may

Posted by stamper on Jan-13-2005 02:37:

Whats Christopher Lawrence like these days? Still sorta hard tranceish?

Posted by DJ SOLACE on Jan-13-2005 03:21:

Usually starts of prog trancish, then moves through to harder uplifting. Generally really good.

Posted by PulseFusion on Jan-13-2005 03:35:

that doesn't sound too bad actually, might have to check this out?

Unfortunately due to circumstances beyond our control, we were forced to move Luke Chable & Steve May from Traffic. With less than 2 weeks lead-up time and no readily available venue, the folks at Global stepped in to pick up the slack in order for the gig to go ahead. Obviously, no more $10 entry fee is a real bummer but from speaking to a few people in the prog and trance circles, they were keen to see Chable, May & Christopher Lawrence so this gives them the perfect opportunity to see all 3 in the one venue!!

However, we'll be back at Garage in Feb and over the next few months have on the cards (so far) Gwill Morris, James Holden, Chris Fortier and Ozgur Can...

Posted by gumble on Jan-26-2005 02:02:

i went.

let someone like mal explain what happened

all i can say is chable - tokyo = sex.

furry nipples rock.....

steve, you are a funny bastard - hope to see you back soon, but next time with a very up for it fabric crowd p.s. your new track rocks, even if it is coming out on coldharbour hhehehehe

it was quite amusing seeing all these ravers going from whatever the fuck you call that noise, to some prog-breaks and prog tracks - standing there wandering what the fuck is going on before wandering off.

Posted by DJ SOLACE on Jan-26-2005 03:37:

So how many people actually was listening in the prog part. And how was Christopher Lawrence?

Posted by archon99 on Jan-26-2005 04:31:

What happened is better left unsaid suffice to say if you thought Chable & May coming on after freeform classics was bad, substitute that for Lenny Dee

Oh, and 3 set time changes which meant outside closed and their time changed from 3, 3.15, 3.30 to finally 4.

CL played some good shit but sadly more people were interested in listening to the tripe downstairs.

Posted by DJ SOLACE on Jan-27-2005 02:56:

What a waste of time. When are they going to learn how to programme a night. I guess when you dont know how to programme a set it shouldnt suprise me.

Posted by petek on Jan-27-2005 10:03:

Thought the night was a bit so so...

Was pretty annoying how all the set times got changed around, I was intending to see Chable :P but was 1 set too late in the end.

As for the other acts, still got to see the couple I wanted, caught the last bit of lawrence, he was a bit techy for my liking ( heh might not have even been him )

The crowd numbers were certainly down too, thought it was going to be packed.
